TUINKOEPEL MET IJSKELDER behorende tot de buitenplaats Mattemburgh. In de parkaanleg op een heuvel staat een op achtkantige grondslag opgetrokken koepel gebouwd in ca.1854. De tuinkoepel is witgepleisterd met donkere plint onder een houten dakje met overstek en bekroond door een achtkantige lantaarn waarin glas-in-lood vensters en voorzien van windveren en een pinakel. Rondboogvormige vensters met roeden en een deur met rondboogvormig bovenlicht aan een natuurstenen drietredige stoep. Het INTERIEUR is rijk gedecoreerd met een stucplafond, gemarmerde wanden (Chinese stijl). In de opgeworpen heuvel is een IJSKELDER met bakstenen ingang met tongewelf, inwendig een koepelgewelf.

Description
GARDEN PAVILION WITH ICE CELLAR belonging to the country estate Mattemburgh. In the park layout on a mound stands a pavilion erected on an octagonal base and built circa 1854. The garden pavilion is whitewashed with a dark plinth under a wooden roof with overhang and crowned by an octagonal lantern with stained glass windows and furnished with weathervanes and a finial. Semicircular-arched windows with glazing bars and a door with a semicircular-arched fanlight on a natural stone three-step entrance. The INTERIOR is richly decorated with a stucco ceiling, marbled walls (Chinese style). In the built-up mound is an ICE CELLAR with a brick entrance with barrel vault, internally a dome vault.
