GATEHOUSE, to the south of the house ruin; brick building of one storey on an L-shaped plan, composed of three parts: tower, west wing and north wing. The slender tower, 15th century, stands on the outer corner of the building; the lower section, approximately to the ridge height of the west wing, is round; above this the tower has an irregular hexagonal cross-section; this upper part has flight holes for pigeons; brick alternating with layers of marl. The south wing with the gate underwent major restoration in the 1980s, namely was rebuilt with (partially) a new design: the only structural components from the building period (15th century) are (partly) the south wall with the moulded natural stone (various stone types) gate frame with iron hinges, and two natural stone column bases; the gate arch with late Gothic features is elliptical and shows ochre-yellow paint traces; the north wing was built around 1900 as a coach house and is in a ruinous state; the roof is missing; the stepped east gavel (Aa side) is rendered; the west gavel (top missing) has a double carriage entrance under a segmental arch.
