Omschrijving onderdeel 2:
PARKAANLEG, XIX of ouder, bestaande uit de zeer kleine landschappelijke aanleg voor het huis en de twee lange rechte bijna loodrecht op elkaar staande eikenlanen. Ten noorden van het huis (dit is de voorgevelkant) en ook ten westen ervan ligt een zeer kleine landschappelijke aanleg, XIX, met restanten van kronkelpaden; enkele zeer fraaie oude solitairbomen; dit "bomenplein" wordt aan de oostzijde begrensd door het langgerekte bijgebouw (zie onder 3), aan de zuidkant door het kasteel en west- en noordzijde door een stuk gracht, dat vroeger deel uitmaakte van het bekenstelsel; langs de buitenzijde van de westelijke arm een rij imposante oude linden, zuidwaarts overgaand in een smal laantje met enkele rijen oude eiken. De officiële onverharde oprijlaan, de Kasteellaan (tracée waarschijnlijk 18e eeuws), loopt vanaf het inrijhek (zie onder 4) aan de Belversedijk naar het zuiden recht op het huis toe; aan weerszijden een dubbele rij eiken in driehoeksverband; in de noordelijke grachtarm ligt -in de as van de laan- een dam met (een tweede) hek (zie onder 5); het tracée van de oprijlaan loopt over het "bomenplein" door naar de (nieuwe) bestrating direct voor de bordestrap. Een tweede rechte laan (nu de daadwerkelijke toegangslaan) loopt vanaf de Oisterwijksedreef zuidoostwaarts naar het kasteel en kruist onder een bijna rechte hoek de Kasteellaan vlak bij de dam in de gracht; het beschermde deel van deze laan loopt tot aan de Essche Stroom; dubbele rijen eiken. Als landschappelijk-visuele bufferzone is een groot aantal percelen weilanden en akkers meegenomen in het beschermde complex.

PARK LAYOUT, 19th century or older, consisting of the very small picturesque layout in front of the house and the two long straight oak avenues standing almost at right angles to each other. To the north of the house (this is the front facade side) and also to the west of it lies a very small picturesque layout, 19th century, with remains of winding paths; several very fine old solitary trees; this "tree square" is bounded on the east side by the elongated ancillary building (see under 3), on the south by the castle and on the west and north sides by a stretch of moat, which formerly formed part of the watercourse system; along the outside of the western arm a row of imposing old lime trees, southward developing into a narrow lane with several rows of old oaks. The official unpaved drive, the Kasteellaan (route probably 18th century), runs from the entrance gate (see under 4) at the Belversedijk to the south straight towards the house; on either side a double row of oaks in triangular spacing; in the northern moat arm lies -in the axis of the lane- a dam with (a second) gate (see under 5); the route of the drive runs over the "tree square" through to the (new) paving directly in front of the outdoor staircase. A second straight avenue (now the actual access lane) runs from the Oisterwijksedreef southeastwards to the castle and crosses the Kasteellaan under an almost right angle near the dam in the moat; the protected part of this lane runs to the Essche Stroom; double rows of oaks. As a landscape-visual buffer zone, a large number of plots of meadows and arable land have been included in the protected complex.
