Omschrijving onderdeel 5:
DAM met HEK, XIX; in de as van het kasteel over de gracht; dam met bakstenen wangen en dito rollaag; smeedijzeren hek met dito platte ajourgewerkte pijlers, waarin met vergulde letters de naam NEMERLAER; pijlers aan bovenzijde verbonden door ijzeren staaf, waarop smeedijzeren bekroning met voluut- en krulvormen.

DAM met HEK van algemeen belang vanwege de ouderdom vanwege het harmonieuze smeedwerk vanwege de functionele en ornamentele waarden.

DAM with FENCE, 19th century; in the axis of the castle over the moat; dam with brick cheeks and ditto roll moulding; wrought iron fence with ditto flat pierced-work pillars, in which the name NEMERLAER in gilded letters; pillars connected at the top by iron rod, upon which wrought iron crest with volute and curl forms.
