Inleiding.
Drie WOONHUIZEN, gebouwd rond 1855 door de Diaconie der Nederlands Hervormde gemeente in Oisterwijk. De panden zijn rond 1920 van een nieuw dak voorzien en zijn ca. 1985 hersteld. Ze liggen ten oosten van de beschermde Hervormde kerk.
Omschrijving.
Reeks van drie eenvoudige, uit baksteen opgetrokken woonhuizen onder mansardedak, gedekt met tuile-du-nordpannen. Bakstenen gevel met gepleisterde plint, afgesloten met gepleisterd fries en overstekende bakgoot. De panden 58 en 60 hebben elk twee vakken met een opgeklampte deur en een T-raam, no. 62 heeft drie vakken met een opgeklampte deur geflankeerd door T-ramen. De dakkapellen zijn ca. 1920 aangebracht. De zijgevels tonen sporen van de verhoging en wijziging van het oorspronkelijke zadeldak en hebben in de toppen vierruits vensters. In de oostelijke zijgevel sporen van een middenraam.
De achtergevels tonen moeten van de dakverhoging en hebben deels gewijzigde zesruits ramen en enkele eenlaags aanbouwen.
Waardering.
De huizen zijn van algemeen belang. Zij hebben cultuurhistorische waarde als vertegenwoordigers van de sociale zorg door de Hervormde Gemeente in de negentiende eeuw. Zij tonen de typologische ontwikkeling van het kleine woonhuis in Noord-Brabant in het midden van de negentiende eeuw. Ze hebben ensemblewaarde vanwege de samenhang met de naastgelegen kerk en als onderdeel van de deels beschermde kern van Oisterwijk. Zij zijn als diaconiewoningen uiterst zeldzaam.

Three DWELLING HOUSES, built around 1855 by the Diaconate of the Dutch Reformed church in Oisterwijk. The buildings were provided with a new roof around 1920 and were restored c. 1985. They are located to the east of the protected Reformed church.

Row of three simple, brick-built dwelling houses under a mansard roof, covered with tuile-du-nord tiles. Brick facade with rendered plinth, closed off with rendered frieze and overhanging brick gutter. Nos. 58 and 60 each have two bays with a braced door and a T-window, no. 62 has three bays with a braced door flanked by T-windows. The roof dormers were added c. 1920. The side facades show traces of the raising and modification of the original gabled roof and have four-pane windows in the gables. In the eastern side facade traces of a centre window.
The rear facades show signs of the roof raising and have partly altered six-pane windows and some single-storey extensions.
Valuation.
The houses are of general importance. They have cultural-historical value as representatives of social welfare provided by the Reformed Church in the nineteenth century. They show the typological development of the small dwelling house in North Brabant in the middle of the nineteenth century. They have ensemble value because of the coherence with the adjacent church and as part of the partly protected core of Oisterwijk. As diaconate dwellings they are extremely rare.
