Inleiding
KOETSHUIS met kas, waarschijnlijk gelijktijdig met de praktijkvilla gebouwd, aan een zijstraat van de Verlengde Schrans (Carel van Manderstraat).
Omschrijving
Vrijstaand koetshuis op rechthoekige grondslag, gedekt door een zadeldak, opgetrokken uit grijze kalkzandsteen met cordonlijst en strekken in rode baksteen. De voorgevel bevat een dubbele deur onder een segmentboog. Dak belegd met gesmoorde Friese golfpannen en afgezet met windveren. In het interieur bevindt zich een klein schoorsteentje. De achterwand telt twee vensters, die indirect verlicht worden. Tegen de achterzijde is en kas aangebouwd op rechthoekig grondplan onder een lessenaardak. De wanden zijn tot ong. 80 cm hoogte van beton of gepleisterde baksteen, voor het overige is de kas van hout en glas.

Description
Detached coach house on rectangular ground plan, covered by a gabled roof, constructed of grey sandstone with cordon line and courses in red brick. The front elevation contains a double door beneath a segmental arch. Roof tiled with muted Frisian barrel tiles and finished with wind tiles. In the interior there is a small chimney. The rear wall has two windows, which are lit indirectly. Against the rear side a greenhouse is attached on rectangular ground plan beneath a lean-to roof. The walls are to approximately 80 cm height of concrete or plastered brick; for the rest the greenhouse is of wood and glass.
