Omschrijving
TUINMANSWONING behorende tot de buitenplaats Slot Zuylen. Aan de noordzijde van de voorburcht staat een tuinmanswoning gebouwd tussen 1650 en 1750. Het op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken bakstenen pand bestaat uit één bouwlaag onder een met Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak met aan de achterzijde een vierkante paviljoenachtige aanbouw onder een met Hollandse pannen gedekt tentdak met op de nok een gemetselde schoorsteen; dakkapellen met driehoekige frontons (voorzijde drie en achterzijde één). In de voorgevel vier getoogde velden, waarvan er drie voorzien zijn van een getoogd samengesteld venster. Ook in de westgevel getoogde vensters en een deur met halfrond bovenlicht. In de achtergevel meerruitsvensters met paneelluiken en een paneeldeur. In de paviljoenachtige aanbouw kloosterkozijnen. Vanaf de kopse westgevel een gemetselde muur naar de poorttoren.

GARDENER'S HOUSE belonging to the country estate Slot Zuylen. On the north side of the outer ward stands a gardener's house built between 1650 and 1750. The brick building erected on a rectangular ground plan consists of one storey under a gabled roof covered with Dutch tiles with on the rear side a square pavilion-like extension under a tent roof covered with Dutch tiles with a mortared chimney on the ridge; roof dormers with triangular pediments (front side three and rear side one). In the front facade four arched fields, three of which are fitted with an arched composite window. Also in the west facade arched windows and a door with semi-circular fanlight. In the rear facade multi-pane windows with panel shutters and a panel door. In the pavilion-like extension cloister windows. From the gable end west wall a mortared wall towards the gate tower.
