PARK LAYOUT; the best-preserved section of the landscape design, 19th century, lies in the northeastern corner of the complex; the access road winds from the garden pavilion (see below 3) on the Helvoirtsestraat through the large front meadow to the house; the road has an asphalt surface and is not planted with trees; however there runs in front of it a low whitewashed wooden fence between the road and meadows; the square posts have a green pyramid-shaped top. In the small meadow along the Helvoirtsestraat stand several fine solitary trees and a group of trees; to the north of the meadow a young copse, which has been added to the park with the diversion of the Zandlei. Enclosed by the access road, the Inner Path (see further) and the ditch section converted into a pond lies a meadow with several solitary trees and a group of trees, which marks the end of the pond; in the southwestern corner of the meadow at the bend of the ditch lies the so-called Galgebergje, which is covered with trees. To the north of the access road a curved row of old oaks; a remarkable remnant of the former planting along the drive.
