KOEPEL MET ORANJERIE EN TUINMANSWONING (7) Ten oosten van het hoofdhuis aan de achterzijde van de laan ligt de voormalige tuinkoepel met aangebouwde oranjerie en haaks daarop het voormalige tuinmanshuis. Het geheel is 18de-eeuws van oorsprong. De koepel is driezijdig uitgebouwd en steekt door de rooilijn van de Velserweg. Het geheel heeft één bouwlaag onder een schilddak. De koepel heeft inwendig een verhoogde begane grond, zodat er een goed uitzicht was. Thans is het gebouw in gebruik als horecagelegenheid en zowel door verbouwingen van de bouwdelen zelf als door de hoge aanpalende bebouwing aangetast. Desondanks moet de kopel met annexen van belang worden geacht.

De KOEPEL MET ORANJERIE EN TUINMANSWONING zijn van belang - vanwege de belangrijke visuele herkenbaarheid van de door de rooilijn gebouwde koepel; - vanwege de relatie van deze koepel met die van het naastgelegen Akrendam; - vanwege hun oorspronkelijk functionele verbondenheid met de buitenplaats.

DOME WITH ORANGERY AND GARDENER'S HOUSE (7) To the east of the main house at the rear of the avenue lies the former garden dome with adjoining orangery and perpendicular to it the former gardener's house. The whole is of 18th-century origin. The dome is extended on three sides and projects through the building line of the Velserweg. The whole has one storey beneath a hipped roof. The dome has internally a raised ground floor, so that there was a good view. Currently the building is in use as a catering establishment and has been affected both by alterations to the building components themselves and by the high adjoining development. Nevertheless, the dome with annexes must be considered significant.
Valuation:
The DOME WITH ORANGERY AND GARDENER'S HOUSE are significant - because of the important visual recognisability of the dome built through the building line; - because of the relationship of this dome with that of the adjacent Akrendam; - because of their originally functional connection with the country estate.
