Omschrijving HEK (3)
Ongeveer halverwege het voorste deel van de oprijlaan staat het 18de-eeuwse toegangshek in Lodewijk XIV-stijl. In nagenoeg dezelfde vorm is dit ook te zien op de aquarel van Staats uit 1770. Het relatief bescheiden hek heeft een symmetrische opbouw met aan weerszijden twee gedrukte natuurstenen pijlers met terugliggende afgeronde hoeken en een bekroning. Daartussen een eenvoudig ijzeren spijlenhek. De overgang naar de hekvleugels wordt gemarkeerd door een smeedijzeren gedecoreerd paneel.
Waardering:
Het HEK is van belang - vanwege de functionele en decoratieve waarde in relatie tot de oorspronkelijke toegangslaan tot de buitenplaats; - Als overblijfsel van de 18de-eeuwse aanleg van de buitenplaats en als zodanig gaaf bewaard.

Approximately halfway along the front part of the driveway stands the 18th-century entrance gate in Louis XIV style. In virtually the same form this can also be seen in the watercolour by Staats from 1770. The relatively modest gate has a symmetrical composition with on either side two pressed natural stone pillars with set-back rounded corners and a crown. Between them a simple iron paling gate. The transition to the gate wings is marked by a decorated wrought-iron panel.
Valuation:
The GATE is of importance - because of the functional and decorative value in relation to the original access lane to the country estate; - As a remnant of the 18th-century layout of the country estate and as such well preserved.
