Deze vaste STUW (H) is gelegen op punt waar de Laag Soerensebeek in de buitenste gracht stroomt. De stuw is opgetrokken in baksteen, gemetseld in kruisverband en bestaat uit een door een rollaag afgesloten damwand met aan weerszijden een vleugelmuur.
Waardering
STUW Stedebouwkundige waarden:
- Het object vormt een onderdeel van de buitenplaats de Geldersche Toren en heeft een duidelijke situeringswaarde die voortkomt uit de ligging van de toren en de bijgebouwen ten opzichte van elkaar en van de omgeving. De markant aanwezige toren vormt met parkaanleg, bijgebouwen en waterbouwkundige werken een duidelijke eenheid. De stuw is functioneel gezien onlosmakelijk met de buitenplaats de Geldersche Toren verbonden en van belang voor de waterhuishouding op het terrein.

This fixed WEIR (H) is located at the point where the Laag Soerensebeek flows into the outer ditch. The weir is constructed in brick, laid in bond masonry and consists of a dam wall closed by a roller course with on either side a wing wall.
