Omschrijving
Ter rechterzijde van de portierswoning bevindt zich dit monumentale TOEGANGSHEK (N) van de buitenplaats Rhederoord. Het betreft een dubbel smeedijzeren hek dat is opgehangen tussen twee van een hardstenen plint voorziene bakstenen kolommen die voorzien zijn van bekroningen met een gestileerde bollen. Op de linker kolom is in de hardstenen bekroning de tekst RHEDER aangebracht terwijl in de rechter kolom de tekst OORD is aangebracht. De grote kolommen worden ieder geflankeerd door een kleinere kolom. Beide kolommen zijn met elkaar verbonden door een hekwerk. Aan weerszijden van de kolommen bevinden zich ijzeren spijlenhekwerken die zich nog enige meters parallel aan de straatweg voortzetten

Description
On the right-hand side of the lodge there is this monumental ENTRANCE GATE (N) of the country estate Rhederoord. It consists of a double wrought-iron gate hung between two brick columns furnished with a hardstone plinth, which are provided with finials featuring stylised spheres. On the left column the text RHEDER has been placed in the hardstone finial while on the right column the text OORD has been placed. The large columns are each flanked by a smaller column. Both columns are connected with each other by a railing. On either side of the columns there are iron railing works which continue for some metres parallel to the street road.
