Inleiding
Aan de oostelijke zijde van de langgevelboerderij is een uit omstreeks 1910 daterend BAKHUIS met aangebouwd TURFHOK en KOLEN- en ZANDHOK uit dezelfde tijd in Ambachtelijk-Traditionele stijl.
Omschrijving
Het bakhuis heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond, één bouwlaag en is voorzien van een zadeldak, gedekt met oud Hollandse pannen. De sobere gevels zijn opgetrokken in baksteen. Aan de oostelijke zijde is de gevel met hout beschoten. De toegang naar het interieur is in de noordelijke gevel. De oven is verwijderd. Tegen de westelijke gevel staat, aangrenzend aan de achterdeur van het woonhuis, een aangebouwd bakstenen turf-, kolen- en zandhok, dat momenteel wordt gebruikt voor de opslag van brandhout. Het zeer sobere gebouwtje heeft in de westelijke gevel twee grote rechthoekige, van een bakstenen borstwering voorziene openingen naar de voorraadhokken. Het lessenaarsdak is voorzien van oud Hollandse pannen.
Waardering
Het bakhuis is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in de periode kort na 1900 en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de langgevelboerderij. Architectuurhistorisch is het van belang vanwege de bijzondere samenhang tussen exterieur en interieur. On the eastern side of the long-façade farmhouse is a BAKERY dated from circa 1910 with an adjoining TURF SHED and COAL and SAND SHED from the same period in Craft-Traditional style.
Description
The bakery has a rectangular floor plan, one storey and is provided with a gabled roof, covered with old Dutch tiles. The austere facades are constructed in brick. On the eastern side the facade is clad with timber. Access to the interior is through the northern facade. The oven has been removed. Against the western facade, adjoining the back door of the dwelling house, stands an adjoining brick turf, coal and sand shed, which is currently used for the storage of firewood. The extremely austere little building has two large rectangular openings, provided with brick parapets, in the western facade leading to the storage sheds. The lean-to roof is provided with old Dutch tiles.
Valuation
The bakery is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical significance as an example of the socio-economic development of agriculture in the period shortly after 1900 and as an example of the typological development of the long-façade farmhouse.
