Inleiding
PASTORIE uit 1904 van de R.K. St. Annakerk, monumentnummer 10191, naar ontwerp van Jos Cuypers en Jan Stuyt. De pastorie ligt westelijk van de kerk met de voorgevel aan de Haagweg.
Omschrijving
De pastorie heeft twee bouwlagen onder een met leien gedekt schilddak met plat op een rechthoekige plattegrond. Aan beide zijkanten van het huis naast de dienstingangen een tweelaagse uitbouw onder zadeldak met tuitgevel, gedeeltelijk doorlopend in het schilddak. Aan de oostkant achter het huis een uitgebouwde serre uit de bouwtijd.
De noord- of voorgevel heeft zes traveeën met links een driezijdige erker op de begane grond en balkon met balustrade. De achtergevel heeft op de verdieping vijf traveeën.
Het opgaande werk bestaat uit paarsrode handgevormde baksteen gemetseld in kruisverband met natuurstenen aanzetstenen op de hoeken en ter hoogte van de bovenlichten een dubbele gele bakstenen band. Het geheel staat op een basement met een afzaat van profielstenen. Onder de bakgoot, die gedragen wordt door gesneden gootklossen, in het fries siermetselwerk afgewisseld door gele baksteen. Muuropeningen met aanzetstenen en dorpels van natuursteen.
De pastorie heeft aan de straat drie ingangen. In de voorgevel een dubbele voordeur in rondboogportiek en jaartalsteen 1904 met opschrift: 'Frans Smits, Corisa Meeus en Josephus Smits'.
In beide zijgevels een dienstingang. Verder hebben alle vensters in het huis in de bovenlichten een kleine roedenverdeling. Op de verdieping T-vormige schuifvensters. In het dak aan de voorkant twee en aan de achterkant één dakkapel onder zadeldakje met pironbekroning. In de topgevel van de rechter zij-uitbouw een hijsdeur met hijsbalk. Aan de achtergevel een kleine klokkenstoel met luidklok.
De pastorie heeft een rijk en gaaf interieur uit de bouwtijd. In de plattegrond een kruisvormige gang, die alle buitendeuren verbindt. Eiken bordestrap. Het hang- en sluitwerk, glas-in-lood, betimmeringen rond deuren, stucplafonds en lambrizeringen met Art Nouveau kenmerken.

De pastorie is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorische waarden: het is van belang als bijzondere uitdrukking van de typologische ontwikkeling van de stedelijke pastorie. The parsonage has two storeys under a slate-covered hipped roof with flat on a rectangular floor plan. On both sides of the building next to the service entrances a two-storey extension under a gabled roof with spout gable, partly running into the hipped roof. On the east side behind the building an enclosed conservatory from the period of construction.
The north or front facade has six bays with on the left a three-sided oriel on the ground floor and balcony with balustrade. The rear facade has on the first floor five bays.
The walling consists of dark red hand-formed brick laid in Flemish bond with natural stone starter stones at the corners and at the height of the fanlights a double yellow brick band. The whole stands on a basement with a plinth of moulded stones. Below the gutter, which is supported by carved gutter brackets, in the frieze decorative brickwork alternated by yellow brick. Wall openings with starter stones and lintels of natural stone.
The parsonage has three entrances on the street. In the front facade a double front door in a round arch portico and a date stone 1904 with inscription: 'Frans Smits, Corisa Meeus and Josephus Smits'.
