KOSTERSWONING bij Sint-Catharinakerk, gebouwd in 1871 in neogotische stijl door P.J.H. Cuypers.
Verbouwd door architect De Bever. In 1978 gerestaureerd (Hoort bij bestaand monument nummer 14635).
Omschrijving
Tweelaags pand op een rechthoekige plattegrond, onder zadeldak waarvan de nok evenwijdig aan de straat loopt. De zijgevel telt drie traveeën, de voorgevel is slechts één travee breed. Het geheel is uitgevoerd in baksteen waarbij de zijgevel aan de straatzijde van een gepleisterde plint is voorzien. Het pand is van hoeklisenen voorzien welke boven de dakrand uitsteken en van een gebeeldhouwde hardstenen bekroning zijn voorzien. Onder de goot en over de gevels ter hoogte van de middenkalven van de ramen zijn baksteenlijsten zichtbaar. De deur bevindt zich in de kopse gevel, van de licht getoogde ramen zijn de bovenlichten gevuld met glas-in-lood. In de top van de voorgevel is een rond raampje aanwezig.
Topgevels aan voor- en achterzijde worden bekroond door achtkantige uitkragende schoorstenen. Het pand is door een muur (in verlengde van zijgevel, parallel aan straat) met ezelsrug met de kerk verbonden.

Het kosterswoonhuis is van algemeen belang. Description
Two-storey building on a rectangular ground plan, under a gabled roof with the ridge running parallel to the street. The side elevation comprises three bays, the front elevation is only one bay wide. The whole is executed in brick with the side elevation facing the street provided with a plastered plinth. The building is fitted with corner pilasters which project above the roof edge and are provided with a carved stone crown. Below the gutter and across the elevations at the height of the middle sills of the windows brick mouldings are visible. The door is located in the gable end, the slightly arched windows have fanlights filled with leaded glass. At the top of the front elevation is a round window.
Gable ends at front and rear are crowned by octagonal projecting chimneys. The building is connected to the church by a wall (in line with the side elevation, parallel to the street) with a saddle-back roof.
Valuation
The sacristans' house is of general importance. It has cultural-historical significance as a particular expression of spiritual development, namely the establishment of Catholic churches as part of the Catholic revival; it is also significant as an example of the typological development of the service dwelling.
