Inleiding
De woningen zijn gebouwd naar plannen van W.M. Dudok in 1937, in samenwerking met aannemer P. van Grootel en maken deel uit van de wijk 'Het Witte Dorp'.
Omschrijving
Rij tweelaags panden. Op de begane grond is een erker aangebracht waarvan de betonnen afdekking als een luifel doorloopt tot boven de deur. Op de verdieping zijn vier dicht op elkaar geplaatste rechthoekige ramen zichtbaar.
De rij wordt afgesloten door twee afwijkende panden, Burghstraat 18 en 20 waarvan nr 18 een drielaags pand is. Aan de achterzijde loopt het dak tot lager toe door en telt de gevel twee bouwlagen. Het pand is terugliggend in de rooilijn geplaatst. Op de begane grond is een samengesteld raam aanwezig. Boven de deur is een breed balkon met deur en raam aangebracht. Daarnaast bevinden zich op de verdieping een rond raam en een uit vier rechthoekige lichten samengesteld raam. De tweede verdieping bevat een samengesteld raam.
Burghstraat 20 is een tweelaags pand, aan de achterzijde telt de gevel drie bouwlagen. De vrijstaande zijgevel is blind.
Boven de deur is een luifel aangebracht, ernaast is een samengesteld raam. Op de verdieping bevinden zich, boven de deur een rond raam, daarnaast een samengesteld raam.
