Inleiding
Vrijstaande SCHUUR uit 1888, onderdeel van het boerderijcomplex 'Hoeve de Beek'. De schuur staat haaks op en ten oosten van de boerderij.
Omschrijving
De schuur is in schoonmetselwerk opgetrokken vanuit een rechthoekige plattegrond. Het zadeldak is gedekt met gesmoorde Hollandse pannen. De kopgevels zijn afgewerkt met eenvoudige houten windveren. De getoogde vensters bevatten zes- of vierruits stalen ramen. De op het erf gerichte voorgevel (zuidwestzijde) heeft in het midden een dubbele houten deur onder een segmentboogvormige strek. Daarboven bevindt zich een getoogd luik onder een segmentboogvormige rollaag. Aan weerszijden van de deur bevindt zich een vierruits venster. Links bevindt zich een recent venster. Er zijn staafankers toegepast. De eerste steenlegging wordt herdacht door een baksteen waarin 'C. Kuyper 1888' is gegrift. In de rechter zijgevel (zuidoostzijde) bevinden zich niet oorspronkelijke deuren en zes getoogde vensters met zesruits stalen ramen. In de linker zijgevel bevinden zich niet oorspronkelijke deuren en een vijftal vensters.
In het interieur is de houten kapconstructie en driebeukige indeling grotendeels behouden.

Description
The barn is constructed in fair-faced brickwork from a rectangular ground plan. The gabled roof is covered with bonded Dutch tiles. The gable ends are finished with simple wooden wind braces. The arched windows contain six- or four-pane steel frames. The front gable facing the courtyard (southwest side) has in the centre a double wooden door beneath a segmental arch lintel. Above this is an arched shutter beneath a segmental arch roll moulding. On either side of the door is a four-pane window. On the left is a recent window. Wall anchors (ornamental) have been applied. The laying of the first brick is commemorated by a brick inscribed 'C. Kuyper 1888'. In the right side gable (southeast side) are non-original doors and six arched windows with six-pane steel frames. In the left side gable are non-original doors and five windows.
In the interior the wooden roof truss structure and three-aisle layout have been largely preserved.
