Inleiding
Vaste BRUG over duiker, gebouwd aan het begin van de 19de eeuw, wordt afgesloten door een in baksteen opgemetseld TOEGANGSHEK uit 1930, geplaatst toen de wijk Cromvliet werd aangelegd en de ingang van de buitenplaats van de Geestbrugweg naar de Beetslaan werd verlegd.
Brug met duiker en hek liggen in het verlengde van de oprijlaan van het huis Cromvliet.
Omschrijving
Met moderne klinkers geplaveid wegdek van de vaste brug over een duiker. De in baksteen gemetselde wanden van de zijkanten van de brug zijn cocaaf van vorm en haaks op de waterloop geplaatst. Aan weerszijden van het wegdek bevinden zich vernieuwde natuurstenen bollen waartussen smeedijzeren kettingen gehangen zijn. Aan de zijde van de oprijlaan (west) twee in rode en gele baksteen (kruisverband) opgemetselde, gebogen keermuren die beëindigd worden door een rollaag. Twee vierkante bakstenen pijlers sluiten de keermuren af, ter markering van de doorgang. Ze zijn circa 1 meter hoog en worden afgedekt door een hardstenen plaat met bolbekroning.
Waardering
De vaste brug met duiker uit het begin van de 19e eeuw met hekwerk uit 1930 is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische en stedenbouwkundige waarde wegens de functionele en visuele relatie met de buitenplaats.

Fixed BRIDGE over culvert, built at the beginning of the 19th century, closed off by an ACCESS GATE built in brickwork from 1930, placed when the Cromvliet district was laid out and the entrance of the country estate was moved from the Geestbrugweg to the Beetslaan.
Bridge with culvert and gate lie in line with the entrance drive of the house Cromvliet.
Description
Driveway surface of the fixed bridge over a culvert paved with modern clinker bricks. The walls built in brickwork on the sides of the bridge are concave in form and placed at right angles to the watercourse. On either side of the driveway are renewed natural stone balls between which wrought iron chains are hung. On the side of the entrance drive (west) two curved retaining walls built up in red and yellow brickwork (running bond) ending in a roller course. Two square brick piers close off the retaining walls, marking the passage. They are approximately 1 metre high and are covered by a sandstone slab with convex capping.
Valuation
The fixed bridge with culvert from the beginning of the 19th century with fencing from 1930 is of general importance on account of its cultural-historical and town-planning value because of the functional and visual relationship with the country estate.
