Omschrijving
KOETSHUIS ten noordoosten van het landhuis gelegen. Het bepleisterde, twee bouwlagen tellende pand is opgetrokken op een in hoofdzaak rechthoekige plattegrond en is gedekt met een afgeplat schilddak.
Het pand is rondom voorzien van kanteelbekroningen met accenten op de hoeken. Onder de kantelen is een tandfries aangebracht.
De voorgevel (zuid) is symmetrisch van indeling met een middenrisaliet die de inrijdeuren bevat. Deze zijn geplaats onder een Tudorboog en zijn voorzien van een getrapte wenkbrauw. Boven de entree is temidden van twee gepaarde blindnisjes een klein venster aangebracht. Het risaliet wordt op de hoeken beëindigd door torenachtige elementen. De geveldelen ter weerszijden bevatten een venster met keperboogvormig bovenlicht. Met uitzondering van het linkervenster zijn de zijkanten van de vensters bezet met smalle pseudo-schietsleuven.
De rechter zijgevel bevat in beide bouwlagen een aantal vensters, waarvan alleen begane gronds de meest linker met een wenkbrauw is uitgevoerd. Op de verdieping steekt hier één venster door de fries.
De linker zijgevel heeft rechts een risaliet waarin in de eerste bouwlaag twee vensters onder wenkbrauwen zijn gezet. Het linker deel met vier vensterassen bevat twee keperboogvormige deuropeningen begane gronds alsmede een aantal vensters.
De achtergevel springt met geveldeel links waarin twee vensterassen, terug en bevat rechts twee vensters en een deur.
Het interieur is door een nieuwe functie geheel gewijzigd en tesamen met de vele moderne dakramen zijn deze onderdelen van ondergeschiukt belang.
Waardering
Het koetshuis is van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een koetshuis in neo-gotiek in Tudorstijl. Het is voorts van belang vanwege de plaats in het oeuvre van de architect S.A. van Lunteren. Tevens is het object van cultuurhistorische en ensemblewaarde vanwege de relatie en de ligging binnen het complex Sandenburg.

Description
COACH HOUSE located to the north-east of the country house. The rendered, two-storey property is constructed on a principally rectangular ground plan and is covered with a hipped roof with clipped gable.
The property is furnished all round with crenellations with accents at the corners. Beneath the crenellations is a tooth frieze applied.
The front elevation (south) is symmetrical in arrangement with a central risalite containing the carriage entrance doors. These are placed beneath a Tudor arch and are provided with a stepped eyebrow. Above the entrance is amid two paired blind niches a small window applied. The risalite is terminated at the corners by tower-like elements. The facade sections on either side contain a window with a herringbone-pattern fanlight. With the exception of the left-hand window the sides of the windows are furnished with narrow pseudo-gun loops.
The right side elevation contains in both storeys a number of windows, of which only on the ground floor the most left with an eyebrow is executed. On the upper storey here one window projects through the frieze.
The left side elevation has a risalite on the right in which on the first storey two windows beneath eyebrows are set. The left section with four window bays contains two herringbone-pattern door openings on the ground floor as well as a number of windows.
The rear elevation recesses with facade section on the left containing two window bays and contains on the right two windows and a door.
The interior has been entirely altered by a new function and together with the many modern roof lights these components are of subordinate significance.
Valuation
The coach house is of general significance because of the architectural-historical value as an example of a coach house in neo-gothic Tudor style. It is furthermore significant because of the place in the oeuvre of architect S.A. van Lunteren. The object is also of cultural-historical and ensemble value because of the relationship and the location within the Sandenburg complex.
