Tussen de Hoekstraat en de Sint Lambertuskerk met bijbehorende pastorie te Nederwetten staat, in een plantsoen, een HEILIGHARTBEELD uit omstreeks 1930.
Omschrijving
Op de hardstenen sokkel is een marmeren plaquette bevestigd met de inscriptie: "H. Hart / van Jezus / zegen / onze parochie. Op de sokkel staat een geschilderd kunststenen beeld van een zegenende Christus.
Waardering
Het H. Hartmonument is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociale en geestelijke ontwikkeling, in het bijzonder de ontwikkeling van de katholieke devoties in het interbellum.
