Pakhuis van twee bouwlagen onder een afgeplat schilddak gedekt met rode kruispannen. De plattegrond van het pand sluit aan bij de gerende achterrooilijn en heeft de vorm van een parallellogram. De gerende voor- en achtergevel zijn opgetrokken in rode machinale waalsteen in kruisverband met snijvoeg, afgewisseld met banden van oranjegele verblendsteen ter hoogte van de onder- en bovendorpels van de vensters en deuren. Boven de vensters en deuren bevinden zich segmentbogen van oranjerode verblendsteen met een boogvulling van grijze baksteen, oranjegele en oranjerode verblendsteen. De zijgevels zijn gesloten. De noordelijke zijgevel is gecementeerd, de zuidgevel opgetrokken uit secundair verwerkte gele en rode baksteen. De buitenmuren worden afgesloten door een omgaande lijstgoot op geprofileerde gootklossen. De voor- en achtergevel hebben onder de lijstgoot een fries van grijze baksteen, rode baksteen, en oranjegele verblendsteen. Ter hoogte van de verdiepingsvloer bevinden zich in de voor- en achtergevel schootankers.
De voorgevel (O) heeft een symmetrisch opzet met in het midden van de hoge begane grond een dubbele paneeldeur voorzien van een diagonale beschieting en een vierruits bovenlicht. Links en rechts een zesruits schuifvenster. In het midden van de eerste verdieping bevindt zich een dubbele paneeldeur (laaddeur) voorzien van vier ramen, geflankeerd door twee gekoppelde vensters. Deze vensters hebben vaste ramen en een valraam als bovenlicht en zijn voorzien van diagonale roeden. In het midden van het voorschild staat een dakkapel met een vergelijkbare maar kleinere deur als die in de tweede bouwlaag. De dakkapel heeft een zadeldak met rode kruispannen en een overstek waaronder vertikaal beschot.
In de achtergevel (W) bevindt zich van links naar rechts een dubbele paneeldeur als middenvoor, twee getoogde gietijzeren stalvensters en een klein venster. De eerste verdieping heeft links een vierruits vast raam, in het midden een tot raam gewijzigde deur, en rechts een vierruits schuifvenster.
Inwendig is het pakhuis grotendeels oorspronkelijk en onder meer voorzien van dubbele vloerluiken voor de deuren in de achtergevel en een beschoten gordingenkap met boven de genoemde luiken een ijzeren hijshaak. De oorspronkelijke gemetselde tabakseest met ijzeren deur is niet meer aanwezig.
Waardering
Het pakhuis is van algemeen belang wegens architectuurhistorisch en cultuurhistorisch waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het gaaf bewaard gebleven winkelcomplex aan de Kerkstraat.

Description
Warehouse of two storeys under a hipped roof covered with red glazed bricks. The floor plan of the building is aligned with the boundary line at the rear and has the shape of a parallelogram. The boundary front and rear facades are built in red machine-made Dutch bond brickwork with raked joint, alternated with bands of orange-yellow facing brick at the height of the under- and upper dormer sills of the windows and doors. Above the windows and doors are segmental arches of orange-red facing brick with arch infilling of grey brick, orange-yellow and orange-red facing brick. The side walls are closed. The northern side wall is cemented, the southern wall built from secondary-processed yellow and red brick. The outer walls are finished with an encircling cornice gutter on moulded gutter brackets. The front and rear facades have below the cornice gutter a frieze of grey brick, red brick, and orange-yellow facing brick. At the height of the floor level between storeys there are wall anchors (ornamental) in the front and rear facades.
The front facade (E) has a symmetrical layout with in the centre of the high ground floor a double panel door provided with diagonal bracing and a four-light fanlight. Left and right a six-light sash window. In the centre of the first storey is a double panel door (loading door) provided with four panes, flanked by two coupled windows. These windows have fixed panes and a drop sash as fanlight and are provided with diagonal glazing bars. In the centre of the front slope there is a roof dormer with a similar but smaller door than that on the second storey. The roof dormer has a gabled roof with red glazed bricks and an overhang under which vertical boarding.
In the rear facade (W) there is from left to right a double panel door as the one at the front centre, two arched cast-iron stable windows and a small window. The first storey has on the left a four-light fixed pane, in the centre a door converted to a window, and on the right a four-light sash window.
Internally the warehouse is largely original and includes among other things double floor hatches for the doors in the rear facade and a boarded principal rafter roof structure with above the said hatches an iron hoist hook. The original brick-built tobacco stove with iron door is no longer present.
Valuation
The warehouse is of general importance for its architectural-historical and cultural-historical value as a historically-functional component of the well-preserved shopping complex on the Kerkstraat.
