Omschrijving
TUIN in een inheemse landschapsstijl, aangelegd omstreeks 1896 in opdracht van Jacob Vinhuizen. De geheel omgrachte tuin die rondom de villa ligt, wordt aan de zuid- en westzijde ontsloten door een dam met toegangshek. De tuin wordt voor een groot deel in beslag genomen door twee niervormige vijvers, die aan de westzijde van elkaar worden gescheiden door een breed toegangspad. De vijver aan de noordzijde heeft een eilandje en een betonnen bruggetje (niet origineel). De resterende ruimte is opgevuld met gazons waarop diverse loofbomen (zoals berken, beuken en treurwilgen) en heesters, en een slingerpad.

GARDEN in a native landscape style, laid out around 1896 at the behest of Jacob Vinhuizen. The completely moated garden situated around the villa is accessed on the south and west sides by a causeway with entrance gate. The garden is largely occupied by two kidney-shaped ponds, which on the west side are separated from each other by a broad access path. The pond on the north side has an island and a concrete bridge (not original). The remaining space is filled with lawns with various deciduous trees (such as birches, beeches and weeping willows) and shrubs, and a winding path.
