Inleiding.
WOONHUIS met BOERDERIJ aan de achterzijde en diverse bijgebouwtjes, opgetrokken circa 1875 in traditionele en eclectische vormen. De in 1955 aangebouwde ouderwoning aan de rechterzijde van het achterhuis valt buiten de van rijkswege geldende bescherming. Het pand heeft zijn oorspronkelijke functie behouden.
Omschrijving.
Het pand is gelegen binnen het beschermde gezicht Heusden stadskern aan de uitvalsweg naar Herpt, dicht tegen de aardwerken aan. Aan de voorzijde bevindt zich een tuin met sierbeplanting, aan de achterzijde bevinden zich diverse bijgebouwen en een grote moestuin die doorloopt tot de havendijk. Het pand bestaat uit een voorhuis waaraan een achterhuis is gebouwd waaraan aan de rechterzijde in 1955 nog een éénlaags ouderwoning in traditionele vormen is gebouwd. Het voorhuis, dat als woning dient, heeft een rechthoekige grondslag, twee bouwlagen waarvan de bovenste een soort kapverdieping met mezzanino is, een schilddak, gedekt met tuile-du-Nord pannen. De gevels zijn gegroefd en gebosseerd, gecementeerd. Op de hoeken van het dak bevinden zich twee gemetselde schoorstenen. Vensters met ronde schouders en stucwerk omlijstingen met kuifbekroning en T-ramen. Kleine rechthoekige mezzaninovensters met afgeronde schouders en kuifversiering. Paneeldeur met gietijzeren roosters. Sobere zijgevels, elk met een smal rechthoekig venster. Intern is het voorhuis symmetrisch ingedeeld door een centrale gang met aan weerszijden kamers.
Het onderkelderde éénlaags achterhuis is wellicht iets ouder dan het voorhuis en heeft een rechthoekige grondslag, gecementeerde gevels en een zadeldak met schild, gedekt met Hollandse pannen. Het achterhuis heeft recht gesloten deur- en vensteropeningen. Smeedijzeren steekankers. De westelijke zijgevel heeft gewijzigde ramen en een kleine oculus daarboven. Verder zijn er kleine ijzeren steekankers aangebracht. Tegen de achtergevel bevindt zich nog een ijzeren pomp uit de bouwtijd. In het dak van het oude gedeelte van het achterhuis bevinden zich twee gemetselde schoorstenen. Intern bevindt zich geen bijzondere ornamentiek, wel is de indeling nog grotendeels origineel. De centrale gang is doorgetrokken naar het voorhuis en heeft aan weerszijden kamers en keukenruimte. De onderkelderde opkamer is nog gaaf bewaard. Onbeschoten sporenkap.
Het westelijke gedeelte van het achterhuis is aangebouwd in 1955 en diende als ouderwoning. Aan de achterzijde hiervan bevindt zich een rechthoekige aanbouw onder lessenaarsdak, gedekt met kruispannen.
Van de diverse stallen en bijgebouwen op het achterterrein zijn twee kleine gebouwtjes beschermenswaardig. De functie die deze oorspronkelijk gehad hebben is onduidelijk. Het betreft hier een éénlaags gebouwtje op rechthoekige grondslag met gevels in schoon metselwerk onder een met Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak. Het heeft wellicht als bakhuisje dienst gedaan. Smeedijzeren steekankers, opgeklampte houten deur en een recht gesloten venster met een vierruits raam.
Het tweede gebouwtje heeft één bouwlaag, een rechthoekige grondslag, gevels in schoon metselwerk en een met Hollandse pannen gedekt lessenaarsdak. Het iets hoger opgetrokken gedeelte bij de ingang aan de zuidzijde heeft bovenop een ronde schoorsteen en deed dienst als rookhok. Recht gesloten vensters met zes- en vierruits ramen. Later aangebrachte paneeldeur.
Waardering.
Het pand met bijgebouwen is van algemeen belang wegens de cultuurhistorische waarde die het heeft als bijzondere uitdrukking van sociaal-economische en typologische ontwikkelingen; namelijk de ontwikkeling van het boerenbedrijf en het bouwtype woonhuis met boerderij en bijgebouwen in het algemeen.
Het pand met bijgebouwen is van architectuurhistorisch belang vanwege de gebruikte eclectische ornamentiek.

Description.
The property is located within the protected townscape of Heusden town centre on the exit road to Herpt, close against the earthworks. At the front there is a garden with ornamental planting, at the rear there are various outbuildings and a large vegetable garden extending to the harbour embankment. The property consists of a front house to which a rear-house has been built, and to the right of which in 1955 a single-storey dwelling extension in traditional forms was built. The front house, which serves as a dwelling, has a rectangular ground plan, two storeys of which the upper is a sort of roof loft with mezzanine, a hipped roof, covered with tuile-du-Nord tiles. The facades are fluted and bossed, rendered in cement. On the corners of the roof are two mortared chimneys. Windows with rounded shoulders and stucco surrounds with hood mouldings and T-sashes. Small rectangular mezzanine windows with rounded shoulders and hood ornamentation. Panelled door with cast-iron grilles. Sober end gables, each with a narrow rectangular window.
