Omschrijving
Inleiding.
WOONHUIS waarvan de lijstgevel uit 1879 in Eclectische stijl is uitgevoerd. De kern van het pand is van voor 1823. Tussen 1825 en 1872 bestond het huis in combinatie met een winkel. Het pand is in de straatwand van de Markt opgenomen en maakt deel uit van de historische structuur van Roosendaal.
Omschrijving.
Tweelaags pand op een rechthoekige plattegrond, onder schilddak waarvan de nok haaks op de straat staat. Het pand heeft een gepleisterde gevel op een hoge hardstenen plint. Het pleisterwerk is op de begane grond geblokt en op de verdieping glad uitgevoerd. In de kroonlijst zijn vlakken aangebracht, erboven bevinden zich een tandlijst en grote kunststenen consoles ter ondersteuning van de gootlijst. Het dak is gedekt met verbeterde Hollandse pannen. De voorgevel is drie traveeën breed, links bevindt zich een paneeldeur met smeedijzeren roosters, toegankelijk via twee hardstenen traptreden. Rechts daarvan zijn twee T-ramen geplaatst. Op de verdieping is in het midden een balkon met openslaande deuren zichtbaar, steunend op grote consoles. Aan weerszijden daarvan is een T-raam aangebracht. Ramen en het balkon zijn van een doorlopende band met balusters op een hardstenen cordonlijst voorzien. Alle bovenlichten van de T-ramen hebben kathedraalglas, ervoor zijn houten rolluikkasten met dekoratieve vormgeving aangebracht. In het midden van het dakvlak bevindt zich een grote dakkapel met gebogen fronton. In het interieur zijn elementen uit de oorspronkelijke toestand bewaard gebleven.

Description.
Two-storey building on a rectangular ground plan, under a hipped roof with the ridge perpendicular to the street. The building has a plastered facade on a high ashlar plinth. The plasterwork is blocked on the ground floor and smooth-finished on the first floor. In the cornice are panels, above which are a dentil course and large stone consoles supporting the drip moulding. The roof is covered with improved Dutch tiles. The front facade is three bays wide, on the left is a panelled door with wrought-iron grilles, accessible via two ashlar steps. To the right of it are two T-windows. On the first floor in the centre is a balcony with French doors visible, supported on large consoles. On either side of it is a T-window. Windows and the balcony are provided with a continuous band of balusters on a stone string course. All fanlights of the T-windows have cathedral glass, in front of which wooden roller-shutter boxes with decorative design have been installed. In the centre of the roof plane is a large roof dormer with curved pediment. In the interior elements from the original condition have been preserved.
