Inleiding.
Voormalige Christelijk Gereformeerde KERK in Neogotische stijl uit ca. 1900/1923, nu woonhuis. Op 30 november 1898 was de instituering van de Christelijk Gereformeerde Kerk van 's Gravenmoer en op 4 december van dat jaar de eerste kerkdienst. Beiden vonden plaats in "Lisboa" aan de Hoofdstraat 20-22. Het eerste eigen kerkgebouw werd rond 1900 gebouwd door aannemer Maerveldt voor f 1260,-. Dominee G. Klumper was in 1905 de eerste voorganger. In 1923 werd het gebouw voorzien van een stenen voor- en achtergevel en steunberen en aan de achterkant wordt in 1953 een consistoriekamer gebouwd.
Het kerkgebouw verloor in de zeventiger jaren zijn functie.
Het interieur en de consistoriekamer behoren niet tot de bescherming van het rijksmonument.
Omschrijving.
De eenlaagse kerk op een rechthoekige plattegrond heeft een eenbeukig schip, dat vier traveeën lang is met boven de voorste travee een zangzolder. Het heeft een zadeldak met de nok loodrecht op de Waspikseweg. Het dak is gedekt met oud-Hollandse pannen. De kerk heeft aan de straat een tuitgevel, die drie traveeën breed is. De gevel heeft hoekpilasters en een oplopend boogfries. De voordeur wordt geflankeerd door een houten spitsboogvenster met een geometrische roedenverdeling. Ook het bovenlicht van de voordeur is zo'n venster. In de tuitgevel ter hoogte van de zangzolder twee houten spitsboogvensters met erboven tussen een rondvenstertje. In de zijgevels drie steunberen. De vensters in het schip van de kerk komen overeen met die van de voorgevel. Het opgaand werk bestaat uit handgevormde rood/paarse baksteen gemetseld in kruisverband. In de voorgevel is hardstenen toegepast voor de plint, cordonlijst, gevelafdekking en sluitblokken van de boog.
Waardering.
De voormalige kerk is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als bijzondere uitdrukking van de ontwikkeling van de gereformeerde kerk in de Langstraat en is tevens van belang als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de zaalkerk voor de gereformeerde kerk. Het heeft architectuurhistorisch belang voor de geschiedenis van de architectuur, in het bijzonder als voorbeeld van de toepassing van eenvoudige neogotische vormen aan een gereformeerde kerk. Het gebouw is als voorbeeld van een gereformeerde kerk in Noord-Brabant betrekkelijk zeldzaam.

Introduction.
Former Christian Reformed CHURCH in Neo-Gothic style from circa 1900/1923, now a dwelling house. On 30 November 1898 the Christian Reformed Church of 's Gravenmoer was instituted and on 4 December of that year the first church service took place. Both occurred in "Lisboa" at Hoofdstraat 20-22. The first purpose-built church was constructed around 1900 by contractor Maerveldt for f 1260,-. Reverend G. Klumper was the first minister in 1905. In 1923 the building was provided with stone front and rear facades and buttresses and in 1953 a consistory room is built at the rear.
The church building lost its function in the seventies.
The interior and the consistory room are not included in the protection of the national monument.
Description.
The single-storey church on a rectangular ground plan has a single-aisle nave that is four bays long with above the first bay a gallery. It has a gabled roof with the ridge perpendicular to the Waspikseweg. The roof is covered with old Dutch tiles. The church has a spout gable facing the street, which is three bays wide. The gable has corner pilasters and an ascending arc frieze. The front door is flanked by a wooden pointed-arch window with geometric glazing bars. The fanlight of the front door is also such a window. In the spout gable at the height of the gallery two wooden pointed-arch windows with above them between a small round window. In the side gables three buttresses. The windows in the nave of the church correspond with those of the front facade. The masonry consists of hand-formed red/purple brick laid in common bond. In the front facade ashlar is used for the plinth, string course, gable coping and voussoirs of the arch.
Valuation.
The former church is of general interest. The building has cultural-historical significance as a distinctive expression of the development of the Reformed church in the Langstraat and is also of significance as an example of the typological development of the hall church for the Reformed church. It has architectural-historical significance for the history of architecture, in particular as an example of the application of simple Neo-Gothic forms to a Reformed church. The building as an example of a Reformed church in North Brabant is relatively rare.
