Inleiding.
Voormalig beurtschippers-WOONHUIS met bedrijfsruimte uit 1868, opgetrokken in Ambachtelijk-Traditionele stijl. Sinds de demping in het midden van de 20ste eeuw van de nabij gelegen haven aan het Oude Vaartje heeft het geen bedrijfsfunctie meer. Het vrijstaande huis ligt op een rechthoekig perceel met de voor- of noordgevel aan de lintbebouwde straat in de kern van 's-Gravenmoer.
Omschrijving.
Het eenlaagse woonhuis met zolder heeft een zadeldak gedekt met oud-Hollandse pannen. De nok ligt parallel aan de straat. Aan de oostkant heeft het huis een dakoverstek met houten geschulpte windveren en makelaar bekroning. Aan de westkant een tuitgevel. In de voorgevel twee schuifvensters met tussenstijl. De oostgevel heeft twee kleine vensters op de begane grond en een pakdeur onder een segmentboog op zolder geflankeerd door twee rondboog venstertjes met een geometrische roedenverdeling. Op de begane grond is onder deze pakdeur nog de boog van een voormalige pakdeur in het metselwerk zichtbaar. Aan de achterkant van het huis een eenvoudige voordeur. De bedrijfsruimte aan de oostkant van het huis is gedeeltelijk bij het woonhuis getrokken.
Waardering.
Het woonhuis met bedrijfsruimte is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als bijzondere uitdrukking van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de scheepvaart in de Langstraat en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van een beurtschippershuis. Het is als voorbeeld van een eenvoudig dorpshuis betrekkelijk zeldzaam.

Introduction.
Former freight-boatmen's DWELLING HOUSE with business premises from 1868, built in Craftsman-Traditional style. Since the infilling in the mid-20th century of the nearby harbour at the Oude Vaartje, it no longer serves a business function. The detached house stands on a rectangular plot with its front or north facade facing the linear ribbon development on the street in the core of 's-Gravenmoer.
Description.
The single-storey dwelling house with attic has a gabled roof covered with old Dutch tiles. The ridge runs parallel to the street. On the east side the house has a roof overhang with wooden carved wind braces and carpenter's crowning. On the west side a spout gable. In the front facade two sash windows with central mullion. The east gable has two small windows on the ground floor and a loading door under a segmental arch on the attic flanked by two round-arched small windows with geometric glazing bars. On the ground floor beneath this loading door the arch of a former loading door is still visible in the brickwork. At the rear of the house a simple front door. The business premises on the east side of the house have been partially incorporated into the dwelling house.
Valuation.
The dwelling house with business premises is of general interest. It has cultural-historical significance as a distinctive expression of the socio-economic development of shipping in the Langstraat and as an example of the typological development of a freight-boatmen's house.
