Inleiding.
De langgerekte BOERDERIJ, in 1884 gebouwd in Ambachtelijk-Traditionele trant, ligt met de as loodrecht op de Vaartweg.
Omschrijving.
De eenlaagse boerderij met zolderverdieping onder rieten zadeldak behoort tot het langgeveltype met dwarsdeel. De voordeur bevindt zich in de lange zuid- of voorgevel. Het westelijke gedeelte van de boerderij is het woondeel. Het bevat drie vensters. De voordeur is verplaatst. De tuitgevel aan de straat is symmetrisch van opzet. Op de begane grond twee en op de verdieping één venster. In de achtergevel bevinden zich eveneens een venster en een getoogde achterdeur. De vensters bestaan uit zesruitsschuifvensters. Op de begane grond zijn ze voorzien van luiken. Het bedrijfsgedeelte in het oostelijke deel van de boerderij heeft in voor- en achtergevel getoogde deeldeuren met flankerende venstertjes. Gietijzeren stalramen. Het opgaande werk bestaat uit handgevormde rood/paarse baksteen gemetseld in kruisverband. Hanekammen boven de rechte muuropeningen. Vlechtwerk aan beide kopgevels.
Waardering.
De boerderij is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als bijzondere uitdrukking van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling in de Langstraat en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de boerderij in de Langstraat. Het heeft ensemblewaarden als essentieel onderdeel van een groter geheel, de lintbebouwde voormalige turfvaart, dat cultuurhistorisch van belang is.
