Inleiding.
De VLAAMSE SCHUUR is gebouwd in het derde kwart van de negentiende eeuw. Bij een latere verbouwing is de karakteristieke inspringing in de plattegrond voor de inrijpoorten rechtgetrokken en dichtgezet met baksteen. Deze schuur bevindt zich achter de langgevelboerderij, ter linkerzijde.
Omschrijving.
De Vlaamse Schuur heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en is opgetrokken uit geteerde houten planken en deels uit handvorm en machinale baksteen. Op het schilddak ligt riet. De gevels zijn voorzien van diverse staldeuren en ijzeren stalraampjes. De korte achtergevel is blind. Het bakstenen deel is voorzien van rechte muurankers. Het inwendige herbergt het oorspronkelijke gebint.
Waardering.
De Vlaamse Schuur is van algemeen belang. Het gebouwtje heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als uitdrukking van een landschappelijke ontwikkeling, met name de stichting van keuterijen in Noord-Brabant. Het is typologisch van belang als voorbeeld van een kleine boerderij. Het heeft ensemblewaarde, gezien de historisch-ruimtelijke relatie met groenvoorziening, wegen, wateren en bodemgesteldheid. Het complex is belangrijk vanwege de gaafheid van ex- en interieur en in relatie tot de structurele en visuele gaafheid van de landschappelijke omgeving. The FLEMISH BARN was built in the third quarter of the nineteenth century. In a later reconstruction the characteristic recess in the plan for the carriage doors was straightened out and filled in with brick. This barn is situated behind the long gabled farmhouse, on the left side.

The Flemish Barn has a rectangular plan and is built of tarred wooden boards and partly of hand-made and machine-made brick. On the hipped roof lies thatch. The facades are provided with various stable doors and iron stable windows. The short rear gable is blind. The brick section is provided with straight ornamental wall anchors. The interior houses the original roof truss structure.
Evaluation.
The Flemish Barn is of general interest. The building has cultural-historical significance as an expression of a landscape development, in particular the establishment of smallholdings in North Brabant. It is typologically significant as an example of a small farmhouse. It has ensemble value, given the historical-spatial relationship with green spaces, roads, watercourses and soil conditions. The complex is important because of the integrity of exterior and interior and in relation to the structural and visual integrity of the surrounding landscape.
