WOONBLOKJE aan de westzijde van de 4e Mussenstraat, tussen het Mussenplein en de Vijverlaan, dat bestaat uit een rijtje van drie woningen onder doorgaand zadeldak. De rode bakstenen gevels zijn gemetseld in kruisverband. Het trasraam wordt, evenals alle muuropeningen, afgesloten door een rollaag. De woningen hebben een topgevel aan de voorzijde (nummer 4) of aan de achterzijde (nummers 6;8). De woningen met een topgevel aan de achterzijde hebben in het voorschild een brede platgedekte houten dakkapel met drie gekoppelde klapramen. Omgekeerd geldt hetzelfde.
Het dak bestaat aldus uit een zadeldak met aankappingen ter plaatse van de topgevels. De topgevels zijn voorzien van windveren. Het dak is belegd met rode verbeterde Hollandse pannen en watert af via houten bakgoten op klossen. De schoorstenen op de nok worden afgesloten door enkele uitgemetselde lagen baksteen. Elke woning heeft in de VOORGEVEL een groot rechthoekig venster met twee gekoppelde schuiframen (oorspronkelijk met schuivende meerruits onder- en bovenramen) en een terugliggende ingangspartij met afgeschuinde zijde en afsluitende houten latei met geknipte loodslabben. De ingangspartijen van de nummers 6;8 zijn gekoppeld. Deze ondiepe portieken bezitten een opgeklampte deur met klein zijlicht en een smal venster (draaiend onderraam, klappend bovenlicht) in de afgeschuinde zijde. De topgevel van nummer 4 is voorzien van een breed rechthoekig venster met vier gekoppelde enkelruits ramen.
De LINKER ZIJGEVEL heeft een schuifraam in de eerste bouwlaag aansluitend op de voorgevel.
De RECHTER ZIJGEVEL heeft in de eerste bouwlaag een trappenhuisvenster en een voormalige ingang (thans omgevormd tot venster). Boven de oorspronkelijke ingang bevindt zich een rechthoekig venster met enkelruits raam.

SMALL RESIDENTIAL BLOCK on the west side of the 4e Mussenstraat, between the Mussenplein and the Vijverlaan, consisting of a row of three dwellings under a continuous gabled roof. The red brick facades are laid in English bond. The sash window, like all wall openings, is closed off by a brick rowlock. The dwellings have a stepped gable at the front (number 4) or at the rear (numbers 6; 8). The dwellings with a stepped gable at the rear have in the front roof section a wide flat-topped timber roof dormer with three paired casement windows. Conversely, the same applies.
The roof thus consists of a gabled roof with cuts at the location of the stepped gables. The stepped gables are provided with wind vanes. The roof is covered with red improved Dutch tiles and drains via timber gutters on corbels. The chimneys on the ridge are closed off by several courses of brickwork. The LEFT SIDE FACADE has a sash window on the first storey adjoining the front facade.
The RIGHT SIDE FACADE has on the first storey a stairwell window and a former entrance (now converted to a window). Above the original entrance is a rectangular window with single-pane frame.
The REAR FACADE has on the first storey large rectangular windows with two or three paired windows. Above the non-original extension of 6; 8 are single-pane casement windows. The added extension of number 4 is executed under continuous roof section. The coupled stepped gables (numbers 6; 8) each have a wide rectangular window with four paired single-pane windows. The other dwelling has a wide timber roof dormer.
