WOONBLOK aan de zuidzijde van de 3e Mussenstraat, tussen het Mussenplein en de Klarendalseweg, dat bestaat uit een rijtje van vijf woningen onder doorgaand zadeldak. De rode bakstenen gevels zijn gemetseld in kruisverband. Het trasraam wordt, evenals alle muuropeningen, afgesloten door een rollaag. De woningen hebben een topgevel aan de voorzijde (nummers 1,7;9) of aan de achterzijde (nummers 3;5). Indien de woningen een topgevel aan de voorzijde hebben, dan is in het achterschild een brede platgedekte houten dakkapel geplaatst (drie gekoppelde klapramen). Omgekeerd geldt hetzelfde.
Het dak bestaat aldus uit een zadeldak met aankappingen ter plaatse van de topgevels. De topgevels zijn voorzien van windveren. Het dak is belegd met rode verbeterde Hollandse pannen en watert af via houten bakgoten op klossen. De schoorstenen op de nok worden afgesloten door enkele uitgemetselde lagen baksteen. Elke woning heeft in de VOORGEVEL een groot rechthoekig venster met twee gekoppelde schuiframen (oorspronkelijk met schuivende meerruits onder- en bovenramen) en een terugliggende ingangspartij met afgeschuinde zijde en afsluitende houten latei met geknipte loodslabben. De ingangspartijen van de nummers 3;5 en 7;9 zijn gekoppeld. Deze ondiepe portieken bezitten een opgeklampte deur met klein zijlicht en een smal venster (draaiend onderraam, klappend bovenlicht) in de afgeschuinde zijde. De topgevels zijn voorzien van een breed rechthoekig venster met vier gekoppelde enkelruits ramen.
De LINKER ZIJGEVEL is voorzien van een trappenhuisvenster en een voormalige ingang (thans een venster). Het gedeelte van de gevel boven de oorspronkelijke ingang is uitgevoerd als topgevel en voorzien van een rechthoekig venster met enkelruits raam. De toegevoegde uitbouw van nummer 1 is uitgevoerd onder doorgetrokken dakschild. De gekoppelde topgevels (nummers 3;5) hebben elk een breed rechthoekig venster met vier gekoppelde enkelruits ramen. De overige woningen hebben een brede houten dakkapel.

RESIDENTIAL BLOCK on the south side of 3e Mussenstraat, between Mussenplein and Klarendalseweg, consisting of a row of five dwellings under a continuous gabled roof. The red brick facades are laid in stretcher bond. The sandstone frame is, like all wall openings, closed with a roll joint. The dwellings have a stepped gable at the front (numbers 1,7;9) or at the rear (numbers 3;5).
