Inleiding.
Evenwijdig aan de rechtergevel van de villa en loodrecht op de Molenstraat is rechts naast de oprit een SCHUUR gelegen.
Omschrijving.
Eenlaags gebouw op een langgerekte, rechthoekige plattegrond met een plat dak. Voor de voorgevel een stoepje met geometrisch tegelwerk. Onderlangs de gevels loopt een plint. De gevels worden afgesloten door een bakgoot op klossen. De muren zijn opgetrokken uit baksteen, gemetseld in kruisverband en worden verlevendigd door twee gestucte speklagen. In de voorgevel geven vier houten klampdeuren met natuurstenen dorpels en afgebiljoende kozijnen onder een segmentboog met geometrisch baksteenmotief in het boogveld toegang tot diverse vertrekken. Verder twee identieke afgebiljoende vensterkozijnen waarin stolpramen met onder- en bovenlichten met kleine roedenverdeling, eveneens onder segmentboog met geometrisch baksteenmotief in het boogveld. Venster in linker zijgevel kijkt uit op belendend perceel.
Waardering.
Het object is van algemeen belang omdat het ensemblewaarden bezit. De schuur vormt tesamen met de villa, de tuin en het sierhek een typerend ensemble, dat met de situering aan een van de uitvalswegen een karakteristiek deel uitmaakt van de historische bebouwing van Boxtel. Verder is het complex van belang wegens de architectonische gaafheid van het exterieur.

Single-storey building on an elongated, rectangular ground plan with a flat roof. In front of the front facade a small platform with geometric tilework. Along the bases of the facades runs a plinth. The facades are finished with a gutter on brackets. The walls are built of brick, laid in English bond and are enlivened by two stuccoed brick-courses of different length. In the front facade four wooden board doors with natural stone thresholds and chamfered frames under a segmental arch with geometric brick motif in the arch field provide access to various rooms. Further two identical chamfered window frames containing storm windows with under- and fanlights with small glazing bars, likewise under segmental arch with geometric brick motif in the arch field. Window in the left side facade overlooks the neighbouring plot.
Valuation.
The object is of general importance because it has ensemble values. The barn together with the villa, the garden and the ornamental fence form a typical ensemble, which by its location on one of the main roads forms a characteristic part of the historical built environment of Boxtel. Furthermore, the complex is of importance because of the architectural integrity of its exterior.
