Inleiding
Groep van 12 BOENSTOEPEN, gelegen langs de Workumertrekvaart. Voor de komst van de waterleiding lagen bij boerderijen en woningen die aan stromend water lagen boenstoepen, waar allerlei zaken gereinigd konden worden. De meeste waren van hout, echter in de walkant van de Workumertrekvaart in Parrega is in de jaren twintig van de twintigste eeuw een reeks identieke betonnen boenstoepen geplaatst. Mogelijk om illegale constructies en beschadiging van de walkant langs het provinciaal vaarwater te vermijden.
Omschrijving
De 12 BOENSTOEPEN zijn alle identiek, met uitzondering van de boenstoep tegenover Trekweg 100. De boenstoepen liggen verzonken in de walkant, zijn monoliet en met geringe dikte vervaardigd en hebben een grondkering met afgeschuinde flanken aan de waterkant. Vanaf de wal gezien is in de rechterhoek, een rond afstapplaatje met daaronder een plateau. Rechts een lagergelegen plateau. De plateaus hebben aan de waterzijde een opstaande richel. De boenstoepen zijn circa 1,8 bij 1,0 meter. De boenstoep tegenover Trekweg 58 grenst bij de brug aan de kade waardoor, van de wal af gezien, de linkerflank zwaarder is uitgevoerd en niet is afgeschuind.
De boenstoep tegenover Trekweg 100 heeft een afmeting van circa 2,2 bij 1,0 meter en heeft in plaats van een rond afstapje een driehoekig afstapje. De plateaus zijn aan de waterzijde afgeschuind. Verder is de uitvoering hetzelfde als bij de andere 11.

Group of 12 WASHING PLATFORMS, situated along the Workumertrekvaart. The 12 WASHING PLATFORMS are all identical, with the exception of the washing platform opposite Trekweg 100.
