Omschrijving
KRUKHUISBOERDERIJ onder een samengesteld dak. Het dak is samengesteld uit een gedeeltelijk van een schilddak voorzien voorhuis en een van een afgewolfd zadeldak voorzien achterhuis. Dit zadeldak is aan de zijde van de rechter zijgevel van het voorhuis doorgetrokken en opgewipt. Het dak heeft aan de schuine zijden windveren en is deels gedekt met riet, deels met rode Muldenpannen en deels met gesmoorde Oudhollandse pannen. Het dak watert af zonder goten. Alleen aan de linker zijde is ter plaatse van het bedrijfsgedeelte een niet oorspronkelijke mastgoot aangebracht. Door de nok van het voorhuis steken twee gemetselde schoorstenen omhoog. De bakstenen gevels zijn in kruisverband gemetseld en voorzien van een gepleisterde plint. In het metselwerk zijn verder geen geledingen en decoraties aangebracht. De gevelopeningen worden afgesloten door bogen in het achterhuis, en door licht getoogde strekken in het voorhuis.
De onregelmatig ingedeelde VOORGEVEL is vijf assen breed. In vier van de vijf assen bevindt zich op de begane grond een zesruits schuifvenster met luiken. Boven ieder venster is een laag zoldervenster geplaatst (tweeruits raam). Rechts van het linker venster bevindt zich bovendien een tweeruits kelderlicht. In de tweede as van links is de ingang ondergebracht: een houten deur onder een bovenlicht met gietijzeren levensboom. Zowel naast de ingang als tussen de twee meest rechts gelegen vensters is een gedecoreerde gedenksteen aangebracht, afgesloten door een gemetseld keperboogje.. De rechter gedenksteen heeft het opschrift: 'ETVH / AJTVH /JWTVH/1891'. De symmetrisch ingedeelde ACHTERGEVEL heeft in het midden een korfboogvormig afgesloten inrijpoort met direct aansluitend rechtgesloten deeldeuren en een middeler. Links en rechts hiervan bevinden zich een klein rondboograam en hieronder een getoogd ijzeren stalraampje van het type spinnekop. Links en rechts bezit de gevel twee korfboogvormig afgesloten mestdeurtjes met aanzet- en sluitststenen. De RECHTER ZIJGEVEL heeft ter plaatse van het voorhuis drie vensters. In aansluiting op het voorhuis bevinden zich in het bedrijfsgedeelte meerdere stalramen. Het INTERIEUR van het voorhuis bestaat in hoofdlijnen uit een grote woonkamer in de middenbeuk, een kelder/opkamer, een keuken en waskamer en een slaapkamer. Het interieur is in aanzienlijke mate intact bewaard gebleven.
Waardering
In de periode 1850-1940 historisch gegroeide KRUKHUISBOERDERIJ, mogelijk met een oudere oorsprong.
- Van architectuurhistorische waarde als een goed voorbeeld van een in ambachtelijke-traditionele trant gebouwde Achterhoekse krukhuisboerderij met schuur en waterput. Het hoofdgebouw is van typologisch belang als goed voorbeeld van een historisch gegroeide krukhuisboerderij, die haar huidige vorm grotendeels gekregen heeft in de tweede helft van de negentiende eeuw en de eerste decennia van de twintigste eeuw. De boerderij is vrij gaaf bewaard gebleven qua hoofdvorm, gevelindeling en materiaalgebruik. Kenmerkend is de symmetrisch ingedeelde achtergevel met onderschoer. Het interieur van de boerderij is vrij gaaf bewaard gebleven en bezit nog de karakteristieke indeling alsmede een aantal authentieke elementen.

Description
CRUK-HOUSE FARMSTEAD under a composite roof. The roof is composed of a front house partly provided with a hipped roof and a rear house provided with a curved gabled roof. This gabled roof is extended along the right side gable of the front house and pitched up. The roof has wind braces on the sloping sides and is partly tiled with reed, partly with red Mulden tiles and partly with smothered Dutch Old tiles. The roof drains without gutters. Only on the left side at the location of the business section is a non-original mast gutter installed. Two brick chimneys rise through the ridge of the front house. The brick facades are laid in Flemish bond and provided with a plastered plinth. No divisions and decorations have been applied in the masonry. The gable openings are closed by arches in the rear house, and by lightly arched stretches in the front house.
The irregularly divided FRONT FACADE is five bays wide. In four of the five bays there is on the ground floor a six-light sash window with shutters. Above each window a low upper-storey window has been placed (two-light frame). To the right of the left window there is also a two-light cellar light. In the second bay from the left the entrance is located: a wooden door under a fanlight with cast-iron tree of life. Both next to the entrance and between the two rightmost windows there is a decorated memorial stone, closed by a brick header arch. The right memorial stone bears the inscription: 'ETVH / AJTVH / JWTVH / 1891'. The symmetrically divided REAR FACADE has in the middle a basket-arch-shaped driveway gate with directly adjoining right-angled divided doors and a mullion. To the left and right of this are a small round-arch window and below it an arched iron stable window of the spider type. On the left and right the facade has two basket-arch-shaped dung doors with abutment and closing stones. The RIGHT SIDE GABLE has at the location of the front house three windows. In connection with the front house there are several stable windows in the business section. The INTERIOR of the front house consists essentially of a large living room in the central aisle, a cellar/upper room, a kitchen and laundry room and a bedroom. The interior has been preserved largely intact.
