Inleiding
OLDAMBTSTER BOERDERIJ (Westerwoldse type) gebouwd in 1884 in opdracht van H.J. Migchels en W. Stikker in een Ambachtelijk-traditionele stijl. Voor de bouw zijn onderdelen gebruikt van een Saksische boerderij. Voor de oorlog hebben twee gezinnen in de boerderij gewoond, waardoor de indeling is gewijzigd. Vanaf 1978 is het pand niet meer in gebruik als boerderij.
De boerderij is gelegen in het centrum van Onstwedde op een langwerpig perceel en is één van de weinig overgebleven boerderijen aan de Dorpsstraat. Het perceel wordt aan de voorzijde van de openbare weg gescheiden door een beukenhaag, waarachter twee linden staan. Aan de linkerzijde bevindt zich een boomgaard.
Omschrijving
De één verdieping hoge OLDAMBTSTER BOERDERIJ op nagenoeg rechthoekige plattegrond is opgetrokken in rode baksteen en wordt gedekt door een wolfdak waarop rode Hollandse pannen met aan de voorzijde zwarte Hollandse pannen; gemetselde schoorsteen op de nok; houten kroonlijst; voorhuis gietijzeren goot, schuur niet-originele goot; strakke houten windveren; muurankers. De gevels van het voorhuis worden geleed door H-vensters onder strek.
De entree bevindt zich centraal in de symmetrische voorgevel (westzijde) en bestaat uit een houten paneeldeur met bovenlicht omlijst met houten pilasters en kroonlijst; twee treden hoge gemetselde stoep; links van de entree in baksteen gegraveerd `H.J.M. 18' en rechts `W.H.S. 84'. Aan weerszijden van de entree twee H-vensters en boven de entree vijf tweeruits zaadvensters onder strek.
In de noordgevel van het voorhuis een H-venster en een opgeklampte houten deur met tweeruits bovenlicht onder strek. In de voorzijde van de krimp een H-venster onder rollaag. In de zijgevel van de schuur twee niet-originele vensters waartussen twee vierkante vensters onder rollaag.
In de achtergevel (oostzijde) van de schuur links dubbele opgeklampte houten schuurdeuren onder houten latei en rollaag, een opgeklampte houten staldeur met tweeruits bovenlicht onder rollaag, een niet-origineel vierruits venster en staldeur (houten latei en rollaag van originele schuurdeuren nog aanwezig). Boven de deuren twee vierruits vensters onder rollaag waartussen niet-originele luiken.
In de zuidgevel een zesruits venster, een opgeklampte houten deur onder rollaag, een getoogd vierruits venster onder rollaag, een niet-origineel klein venster en niet-originele schuurdeur en twee getoogde vierruits vensters onder rollaag. Aan de voorzijde van de krimp een zesruits venster onder strek. In de zijgevel van het voorhuis een H-venster.
Het INTERIEUR komt wegens verbouw niet voor bescherming van rijkswege in aanmerking.

OLDAMBTSTER FARMHOUSE (Westerwold type) built in 1884 on the instructions of H.J. Migchels and W. Stikker in a Craft-traditional style. For the construction, components from a Saxon farmhouse were used. Before the war, two families lived in the farmhouse, which resulted in a change of layout. From 1978 onwards, the building was no longer used as a farmhouse.
The farmhouse is located in the centre of Onstwedde on an elongated plot and is one of the few remaining farmhouses on the Dorpsstraat. The plot is separated from the public road at the front by a beech hedge, behind which two lime trees stand. On the left side there is an orchard.
Description
The one-storey OLDAMBTSTER FARMHOUSE on an approximately rectangular ground plan is constructed in red brick and is covered by a half-hipped roof with red Dutch tiles and black Dutch tiles on the front; rendered chimney on the ridge; wooden cornice; front house cast-iron gutter, barn non-original gutter; taut wooden wind braces; ornamental wall anchors. The facades of the front house are articulated by H-windows under lintel.
The entrance is centrally located in the symmetrical front facade (west side) and consists of a wooden panelled door with fanlight framed with wooden pilasters and cornice; two-step high rendered stoep; to the left of the entrance in brick engraved 'H.J.M. 18' and to the right 'W.H.S. 84'. On either side of the entrance two H-windows and above the entrance five two-pane seed windows under lintel.
In the north facade of the front house an H-window and a clamped wooden door with two-pane fanlight under lintel. On the front of the roof pitch an H-window under roll moulding. In the side facade of the barn two non-original windows with two square windows under roll moulding between them.
In the rear facade (east side) of the barn on the left double clamped wooden barn doors under wooden lintel and roll moulding, a clamped wooden stable door with two-pane fanlight under roll moulding, a non-original four-pane window and stable door (wooden lintel and roll moulding of original barn doors still present). Above the doors two four-pane windows under roll moulding with non-original shutters between them.
In the south facade a six-pane window, a clamped wooden door under roll moulding, an arched four-pane window under roll moulding, a non-original small window and non-original barn door and two arched four-pane windows under roll moulding. On the front of the roof pitch a six-pane window under lintel. In the side facade of the front house an H-window.
The INTERIOR does not qualify for protection by the state due to alterations.
