Omschrijving
De één verdieping hoge DIENSTWONING uit omstreeks 1935 in een Interbellum-architectuur met aangebouwd KOETSHUIS en SCHUUR op nagenoeg rechthoekige plattegrond is opgetrokken in rode baksteen op een trasraam van lichtgesinterde baksteen en wordt gedekt door een samengestelde kap waarop oranje opnieuw verbeterde Hollandse pannen; gemetselde schoorsteen op de nok; mastgoot; twee houten dakkapellen onder plat overkragend dak, één aan de noordzijde met tweedelig venster, één aan de achterzijde met driedelig vierruits venster. De gevels worden geleed door liggende stalen vensters met roedenverdeling.
In de risalerende gevel met wolfeind aan de voorzijde (westgevel) een liggend venster met zijlichten met roedenverdeling en in de top een samengesteld tweedelig vierruits venster. Links van de topgevel het koetshuis met twee houten deuren.
In de noordgevel van het koetshuis drie vierruits vensters en een opgeklampte houten deur, alle onder rollaag.
In de achtergevel (oostzijde) van het koetshuis een getoogd zesruits venster onder rollaag. In de achtergevel van de schuur onder plat dak twee liggende venster.
In de risalerende zuidgevel van de woning twee liggende vensters met zijlicht met roedenverdeling waartussen een halfronde houten paneeldeur waarin glas onder twee rollagen waarvoor een stoep; aan de rechter zijkant een H-venster met tweeruits bovenlicht. In de zuidgevel van de schuur een opgeklampte houten deur en twee staande drieruits vensters.
In het INTERIEUR zijn onder meer van belang: in de woonkamer de schouw van groen/zwarte tegels, in de keuken de schouw van gele tegels.
Waardering
Dienstwoning met aangebouwd koetshuis en schuur van algemeen belang vanwege architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde:
- als voorbeeld van een dienstwoning uit het tweede kwart van de twintigste eeuw in de provincie Groningen
- vanwege de sobere vormgeving en detaillering

The one-storey high SERVICE DWELLING from circa 1935 in an Interbellum-architecture with attached COACH HOUSE and BARN on an approximately rectangular plan is built of red brick on a stone base of light-sintered brick and is covered by a composite roof structure with orange newly improved Dutch tiles; brick chimney on the ridge; mastgutter; two wooden roof dormers under flat projecting roof, one on the north side with two-part window, one on the rear side with three-part four-pane window. The facades are articulated by horizontal steel windows with glazing bars.
In the projecting gable with half-hipped end at the front (west facade) a horizontal window with side lights with glazing bars and in the top a composite two-part four-pane window. To the left of the top gable the coach house with two wooden doors.
In the north facade of the coach house three four-pane windows and a clamped wooden door, all under a relieving arch.
In the rear facade (east side) of the coach house an arched six-pane window under a relieving arch. In the rear facade of the barn under a flat roof two horizontal windows.
In the projecting south facade of the dwelling two horizontal windows with side light with glazing bars between which a semicircular wooden panel door with glass under two relieving arches for which a stoep; on the right side an H-window with two-pane fanlight. In the south facade of the barn a clamped wooden door and two tall three-pane windows.
In the INTERIOR are among other things of importance: in the living room the fireplace of green/black tiles, in the kitchen the fireplace of yellow tiles.
