Inleiding:
PLANTENKASSEN uit ca. 1870. Aan de noordkant van de kasteeltuin liggen twee langwerpige rechthoekige plantenkassen. De ene kas, is vrijstaand en bestaat uit twee gedeelten in elkaars verlengde. Ze hebben een aangebouwd stookhuis en schoorsteen. De andere kas, staat tegen de zuidmuur van de boerderij. De kassen zijn door een zandpad gescheiden van de oranjerie, die grenst aan de oprijlaan van het kasteel.
Omschrijving:
De eerst genoemde plantenkas bestaat uit een hoog en een laag gedeelte, die door een deur met elkaar verbonden zijn. Oorspronkelijk waren ze even hoog. De kas heeft een bakstenen basement met een hardstenen afdekking. Hierop bevinden zich ijzeren samengestelde spanten en glasroeden met daarin tuindersglas. De kas heeft een zadeldak Aan de westkop van de kas staat een bakstenen ketelhuis met schoorsteen.
Rondom in de kas bevindt zich een kweekbed op tafelhoogte. Hieronder liggen de verwarmingsbuizen. Het bed bestaat aan de voorkant uit een stenen muur met getoogde muuropeningen, die door een houten luikjes dichtgezet kunnen worden. De bodem van het bed wordt gevormd door oud-hollandse pannen op een ijzeren draagconstructie.
De kas tegen de zuidmuur van de boerderij is eenvoudig van opzet. Deze bestaat uit ijzeren halfspanten leunend tegen de muur met hierop glasroeden en tuindersglas.

De plantenkassen van de buitenplaats Kasteel Geldrop zijn van algemeen belang. They have an adjoining boiler house and chimney. The other house stands against the south wall of the farm building. The houses are separated from the orangery by a sand path, which borders on the château's drive.

The house has a brick basement with a hard-stone coping. On this are situated iron compound roof trusses and glass roofing bars with gardening glass. The house has a gabled roof. At the west gable of the house stands a brick boiler house with chimney.
Around the inside of the house is a growing bed at table height. Below this lie the heating pipes. The bed consists on the front of a stone wall with arched wall openings, which can be closed by wooden shutters. The bottom of the bed is formed by old-Dutch tiles on an iron support structure.
