KOETSHUIS in twee fases opgetrokken op een langgerekte plattegrond bestaande uit drie bouwvolumes: een westelijk en oostelijk deel en een tussenlid. Het westelijke deel is opgetrokken in rode baksteen met speklagen van zandsteen, over één bouwlaag onder een zadeldak met gesmoorde Hollandse pannen. De gevels van dit staldeel worden geleed door houten staldeuren met zware scharnieren en bovenlichten met verticale roeden.
Het oostelijke deel is opgetrokken in rode baksteen over twee bouwlagen onder een plat dak; eenvoudig houten gootlijst. De gevels zijn geleed door rechtgesloten zesruits schuifvensters onder segmentbogen in rode verblendsteen, met gepleisterde aanzet en sluitstenen op de begane grond; verder voorzien van gepleisterde boogtrommels, waterdorpels van geglazuurde baksteen en enkele gepleisterde speklagen.
Tussen het oostelijke en westelijke deel bevindt zich een tussenlid van één bouwlaag onder een plat dak. Ook hier zijn de gevels opgetrokken in rode baksteen en voorzien van rechtgesloten gevelopeningen, ditmaal onder strekken. De gootlijst van het tussenlid heeft aan de bovenzijde een iets overstekende cordonlijst.
Waardering
In stedenbouwkundig opzicht is het koetshuis van algemeen belang vanwege de functionele en ruimtelijke samenhang met de andere onderdelen van het complex van de Marthastichting in de parkaanleg.
Het exterieur van het koetshuis is in hoge mate gaaf en vormt een uitdrukking van de bouwgeschiedenis.

Description
COACHHOUSE erected in two phases on an elongated ground plan consisting of three building volumes: a western and eastern part and an intermediate section. The western part is erected in red brick with sandstone string courses, over one storey under a gabled roof with restrained Dutch tiles. The facades of this stable section are articulated by wooden stable doors with heavy hinges and fanlights with vertical glazing bars.
The eastern part is erected in red brick over two storeys under a flat roof; simple wooden gutter line. The facades are articulated by straight-sided six-pane sash windows under segmental arches in red facing brick, with rendered setting-out and closing stones on the ground floor; furthermore provided with rendered arch drums, drip moulds of glazed brick and several rendered string courses.
Between the eastern and western part is an intermediate section of one storey under a flat roof. Here too the facades are erected in red brick and provided with straight-sided wall openings, this time under string courses. The gutter line of the intermediate section has a slightly overhanging cordon line at the top.
Valuation
In urban planning terms the coachhouse is of general importance because of the functional and spatial coherence with the other components of the Martha Foundation complex in the park layout.
The exterior of the coachhouse is in good condition and is an expression of the building history.
