Description of complex component 1

HOUSE 'Souburg' with attached STABLE and with ENTRANCE GATE consisting of a dwelling house in Eclectic style and a stable section rebuilt after fire in 1941 in Traditionalist style. The front facade of the dwelling house with two storeys (south) is plastered, both side facades are of fair-faced brickwork in Ijssel brick. The gabled roof slightly overhangs with an overhanging apex and is now covered with concrete tiles; along the roof edge of the front facade carved wind braces with hanging struts have been applied, the roof edges of the side facade are also decorated with decorative carving. The dwelling house has a continuous cordon band, the plastered front facade is furnished with corner strips, false joints and profiled mouldings.

Symmetrical front facade (south) with in the central projection the entrance on a step with stone steps; double door with glass and a fanlight decorated with a tree of life.
