Inleiding
TOEGANGSHEK, in Ambachtelijk Traditionele stijl, uit het derde kwart van de negentiende eeuw, behorende tot een complex waartoe ook een boerderij met aangebouwde stal behoort. Het hek bevindt zich aan het begin van de oprijlaan.
Omschrijving
Het hek heeft twee hardstenen pijlers met koppen, waaraan de draaihekken met pijlpuntstijlen zijn bevestigd. Op de pijlers is een inscriptie te lezen met de tekst: 'Te wonen bij het nuttig vee gelijk als Vader Jacob dee, het land te bouwen is mijn kunst, mijn hart en zinnen zijn bewunst'.

ENTRANCE GATE, in Artisanal Traditional style, from the third quarter of the nineteenth century, forming part of a complex which also includes a farmhouse with attached barn. The gate is located at the beginning of the driveway.
Description
The gate has two hardstone pillars with capitals, to which the swing gates with arrow-point stiles are attached. An inscription can be read on the pillars with the text: 'To dwell with useful livestock just as Father Jacob did, to till the land is my art, my heart and senses are determined'.

The gate is of general interest for its architectural-historical value as an example of characteristic farm building.
