HISTORISCHE PARKAANLEG behorend tot de buitenplaats Het Waliën'. In structuur en in detail grotendeels gaaf bewaarde historische parkaanleg deels naar een ontwerp uit 1914/1915 in gemengde stijl van de tuinarchitect L.A. SPRINGER.
Het hoofdgebouw bevindt zich in een open ruimte, die aan de westzijde begrensd wordt door een laan aan weerszijden geflankeerd door rode beuken, aan de noordzijde door een smalle bosstrook voornamelijk bestaande uit berken en amerikaanse eiken en aan de oostzijde door een loof- en naaldbos. Achter de rode beukenlaan bevindt zich een populierenbos op verhoogde stroken tussen greppels. De open ruimte rond het huis is grotendeels uitgevoerd in een gemengde stijl bestaande uit een voormalige strakke, formele tuin aan de noordzijde van het hoofdgebouw en een landschappelijke aanleg. Van de formele tuin resteren nog twee grote buxusbollen. De landschappelijke aanleg bestaat uit een langgerekte vijver met vloeiende lijnen ten westen van de formele tuin. Aan het einde van de vijver bevindt zich een rustpunt, gevormd door een bankje omgeven door een geknipte buxushaag. Deze oprijlaan wordt aan weerszijden geflankeerd door bomen. In de periode 1915-1930 is deze halve cirkel doorgetrokken aan de zuidzijde van de Lochemseweg tot een hele cirkel. Het betreft hier eveneens een onverharde weg aan weerszijden geflankeerd door bomen. In de zichtas van het hoofdgebouw bevindt zich een laan vanaf deze cirkel naar het zuiden.

HISTORIC PARK LAYOUT belonging to the country estate 'Het Waliën'. A historic park layout largely well preserved in structure and detail partly after a design from 1914/1915 in mixed style by landscape architect L.A. SPRINGER.
The main building is situated in an open space, which is bounded on the west side by an avenue flanked on both sides by red beeches, on the north side by a narrow wooded strip consisting mainly of birches and American oaks and on the east side by a mixed deciduous and coniferous forest. Behind the red beech avenue there is a poplar wood on raised strips between drainage ditches. The open space around the house is largely executed in a mixed style consisting of a former strict, formal garden on the north side of the main building and a landscape layout. Of the formal garden two large boxwood balls remain. The landscape layout consists of an elongated pond with flowing lines to the west of the formal garden. At the end of the pond there is a resting place, formed by a bench surrounded by a clipped boxwood hedge. The pond is situated in a large open space through which and around which paths meander. These paths connect to the paths in the surrounding woodland. In the open space there are a number of bare heights and a number of hills on which trees are planted. On the west side of the house there is a weeping beech. The open space on the south side of the main building consists of a meadow with the driveway, from the Lochemseweg in a semicircle in front of the house and back to the Lochemseweg. This driveway is flanked on both sides by trees. In the period 1915-1930 this semicircle was extended on the south side of the Lochemseweg to form a full circle. This is likewise an unmade road flanked on both sides by trees. In the sight line of the main building there is an avenue from this circle towards the south.
