Inleiding
De als beltmolen uitgevoerde ronde stenen bovenkruier is in 1868 gebouwd en was ingericht als korenmolen. De molen is in 1957 onttakeld als gevolg van oorlogsschade, waarbij het gevlucht, de kap en waarschijnlijk tegelijk het gaande werk werden verwijderd. De molenromp kreeg een functie als logiesruimte annex vakantiewoning. Thans is alleen de begane grond in gebruik als opslagruimte. De molenromp ligt nabij de kruising Stakenborgseweg - Grensweg. De molenromp staat op het achterste deel van een diep perceel. Op de zuidzijde van dit perceel is een restaurant gevestigd. Op het noordwesten staan enkele windsingels en op de molenbelt staan enkele hoge bomen, maar de molenromp is zichtbaar in de omgeving.
Omschrijving
Het staande werk van de molenromp bestaat uit de ronde conisch gemetselde bakstenen romp en de belt van een bovenkruier. De belt is voorzien van één inrit op het westen. De uit vijf bouwlagen bestaande molenromp is voorzien van een houten parapluvormige afdekking, welke is aangebracht op een op de romp geplaatste rondgaande strook raamkozijnen.
Waardering
De molenromp is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege bouwtechnisch historische waarden als herkenbaar en representatief relict van een ronde stenen korenmolen uit de tweede helft van de 19e eeuw;
- vanwege cultuurhistorische waarden als onderdeel van de geschiedenis van de graanmaalderijen van Nederland en de industriële ontwikkeling van Gelderland en de plaatselijke geschiedenis;
- vanwege situationele waarden betreffende de historische gaafheid van de omgeving.

Description
Introduction
The round stone top-driven mill executed as a belt mill was built in 1868 and was fitted out as a grain mill. The mill was dismantled in 1957 as a result of war damage, whereby the sails, the roof and probably at the same time the running gear were removed. The mill body was given a function as lodging space combined with holiday accommodation. Currently only the ground floor is in use as storage space. The mill body is located near the intersection of Stakenborgseweg - Grensweg. The mill body stands on the rear part of a deep plot. On the south side of this plot a restaurant is established. On the northwest are some wind shelters and on the mill belt are some tall trees, but the mill body is visible in the surroundings.
Description
The standing work of the mill body consists of the round conically mortared brick body and the belt of a top-driven mill. The belt is provided with one entrance on the west. The mill body, consisting of five storeys, is provided with a wooden umbrella-shaped covering, which is mounted on a continuous strip of window frames placed on the body.
