Omschrijving onderdeel 3
TOEGANGSBRUG. Voor het huis ligt een massief geproportioneerde kettingbrug gesigneerd met 'AL 1903' en opgebouwd uit steen, hout en ijzer. De brug wordt gedragen door twee gemetselde, gecementeerde brughoofden deels voorzien van blokverdeling waartussen een houten brugdek met houten onderstel in vakwerk. Op de brughoofden staan gecementeerde bakstenen pijlers met gietijzeren afdekplaten. Tussen de pijlers hingen oorspronkelijk kettingen. Van de brug is een ontwerptekening bewaard.

ACCESS BRIDGE. In front of the house stands a massively proportioned chain bridge signed 'AL 1903' and constructed of stone, wood and iron. The bridge is supported by two mortared stone bridge abutments partly provided with ashlar work between which lies a wooden bridge deck with a wooden framework substructure. On the bridge abutments stand mortared brick piers with cast iron capping plates. Between the piers hung chains originally. A design drawing of the bridge has been preserved.
