HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG behorende tot de buitenplaats Klein Drakenstein. Deels in structuur, deels in detail gaaf bewaarde landschappelijke tuin- en parkaanleg, die in zijn huidige vorm in grote lijnen omstreeks 1800 tot stand moet zijn gekomen. Centraal in de aanleg liggen het hoofdgebouw en koetshuis aan een ovaalvormig, met grint bedekt voorplein waarbinnen een ovaalvormig grasperk. Deze oprit is van de Kloosterlaan afgesloten door middel van een toegangshek in de as van het hoofdgebouw. De landschappelijke parkaanleg rondom het huis kenmerkt zich door open partijen voor (voorplein) en achter (geaccidenteerd gazon met kleine vijver) het huis, welke worden afgesloten door boomgroepen en stroken bos (beuk eik, kastanje, rodondendron), die als coulissen fungeren voor de fraaie gezichten vanaf het huis op het omringende weidegebied en vice versa. Bijna de helft van het terrein, een brede strook van de westelijke tot de noordelijke grens, bestaat uit bos met een houtopstand die deels stamt uit de achttiende en negentiende eeuw. Het noordelijke deel bestaat overwegend uit naaldhout en wordt doorsneden door twee rechte paden. Aan het begin van één van deze paden, daar waar het bos overgaat in het weidegebied achter het huis, staat een grote, solitaire beuk van circa 350 jaar oud. In het westelijke deel van het bos is het "Engelsch bosch" nog herkenbaar, er wordt vooral loofhout aangetroffen (beuk, eik, kastanje) waarvan een deel nog uit de tijd van de aanleg (rond 1800) stamt. Dit westelijke deel van het parkbos is enigszins geaccidenteerd en wordt doorsneden door slingerende wandelpaden, waarvan de loop enigszins vervaagd is. Ten zuiden van het huis, daar waar oorspronkelijk een moestuin en boomgaard gesitueerd waren, bevindt zich ook tegenwoordig nog een boomgaard; deze is van de rest van de tuin gescheiden door middel van een tuinmuur.

HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT belonging to the country estate Klein Drakenstein. Partly in structure, partly in detail well-preserved landscape garden and park layout, which in its current form must have been created broadly around 1800. Central to the layout are the main building and carriage house on an oval, gravel-covered forecourt within which an oval grass plot. This drive is separated from the Kloosterlaan by means of an entrance gate in the axis of the main building. The landscape park layout around the house is characterised by open areas in front (forecourt) and behind (undulating lawn with small pond) the house, which are bordered by tree groups and strips of woodland (beech, oak, chestnut, rhododendron), which serve as coulisses for fine views from the house onto the surrounding meadow area and vice versa. Almost half of the grounds, a broad strip from the western to the northern boundary, consists of woodland with a timber stand partly dating from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The northern part consists predominantly of coniferous trees and is crossed by two straight paths. At the beginning of one of these paths, where the woodland merges into the meadow area behind the house, stands a large solitary beech tree approximately 350 years old. In the western part of the woodland the "Engelsch bosch" is still recognisable, where mainly deciduous trees are found (beech, oak, chestnut), some of which date from the time of the layout (around 1800). This western part of the park woodland is somewhat undulating and is crossed by winding footpaths, the course of which is somewhat indistinct. South of the house, where originally a vegetable garden and orchard were situated, an orchard is still to be found today; this is separated from the rest of the garden by means of a garden wall.
