Even ten noorden van het huis staat een bronzen BORSTBEELD van Carolus Linnaeus opgesteld op een marmeren zuil. Het beeld werd in 1907 vervaardigd door W.M. Retera ter gelegenheid van de tweehonderdste sterfdag van Linnaeus ( 23 mei 1907).

Het BORSTBEELD is van algemeen cultuurhistorisch belang vanwege
- de herinneringswaarde aan de met de buitenplaats verbonden persoon van Carolus Linnaeus
- als karakteristiek onderdeel;

Just to the north of the house a bronze BUST of Carolus Linnaeus is placed on a marble column. The bust was created in 1907 by W.M. Retera on the occasion of the two-hundredth anniversary of Linnaeus's death (23 May 1907).
