Omschrijving onderdeel 2:
PARKAANLEG, in wezen XIX, gedeeltelijk hersteld na 1953, bestaande uit a. zichtlaan b. park c. bosgebied d. voormalige moestuin en boomgaard
ad a.: vanaf een entree aan de Donkereweg loopt een rechte laan, de Mastenlaan (met jonge beuken ingeplant), naar het midden van het complexgebied zonder duidelijke beëindiging; het is een zichtlaan vanuit de koepel van de naast Heesterlust gelegen buitenplaats Mon Plaisir.
ad b.: voor het huis (ZO-zijde) ligt een groot grasveld, dat zich uitstrekt tot aan de Heesterlustweg; enkele solitairen; omzoming met jong loofhout en vooral veel taxus; een smalle klinkerweg met halfronde bocht leidt vanaf het nieuwe inrijhek naar het met grind verharde "plein" tussen huis en koetshuis.
ad c.: het grootste deel van het complexgebied is bedekt met jong bos, dat op dit moment als natuurbos beheerd wordt; er is geen duidelijke structuur; het padenpatroon is gedeeltelijk nog aanwezig. Schuin achter het huis ligt een kleine ronde vijver.
ad d.: ten noorden van het huis ligt een groot L-vormige grasveld: de plaats van de voormalige moestuin en boomgaard; langs het zuidelijk deel van de NO-grens staat nog een verwilderde oude buxushaag.

re a.: from an entrance on the Donkereweg runs a straight lane, the Mastenlaan (with young beech trees planted), towards the centre of the complex area without clear termination; it is a sight lane from the cupola of the country estate Mon Plaisir situated next to Heesterlust.
re b.: in front of the house (SE side) lies a large grass field, which extends to the Heesterlustweg; a few solitary trees; edging with young deciduous trees and especially much yew; a narrow clinker lane with semi-circular bend leads from the new entrance gate to the gravel-surfaced "square" between house and coach house.
re c.: the largest part of the complex area is covered with young woodland, which is currently managed as natural forest; there is no clear structure; the path pattern is only partially still present. Diagonally behind the house lies a small round pond.
re d.: to the north of the house lies a large L-shaped grass field: the site of the former vegetable garden and orchard; along the southern part of the NE boundary stands an old wild box hedge.
