Omschrijving onderdeel 2: PARKAANLEG, bestaande uit
a. huiseiland met gracht en singel
b. voorpark
c. wandelbos
ad a.: het min of meer rechthoekige huiseiland ligt binnen de gracht, die aan de buitenzijde begeleid wordt door een zandlaan met enkele rijen beuken; het huis met bijgebouwen ligt op de zuidoostelijke helft; de andere helft is ingenomen door de moestuin, waarvan de inrichting nieuw is; er bevinden zich een oude tuinmuur en - er tegenaan gebouwd - een oude kas (zie onder 5); het voorplein heeft een nieuwe inrichting met buxus, veldkeien en klinkers
ad b.: het parkdeel aan de voorzijde (= noordoost) bestaat uit een driehoekig weiland met een kleine ronde vijver in het midden en enkele solitairen; de wei wordt begrensd door de Schiphorsterweg en de twee smalle min of meer rechte klinkerweggetjes, die vanaf de dam over de gracht V- vormig uitlopen naar de twee niet gemarkeerde ingangen aan de Schiphorsterweg; het weggetje, dat noordwaarts loopt is gedeeltelijk begeleid door oude eiken; aan het andere, naar het oosten lopend, ligt een nieuwe parkeerplaats
ad c.: achter het huis ligt een oud eikenbos met wandelpaden en een kleine slingervijver; er is geen brug als rechtstreekse verbinding over de gracht met dit bos; een smalle strook bos loopt langs de zuidoostarm van de gracht tot aan Schiphorsterweg; in de zuidelijke hoek ligt een akker; tussen de gracht en de landweg, die de grens van het complex vormt, liggen drie weilandjes met houtwallen en een enkele solitair en een groepje berken.

re a.: the more or less rectangular house island lies within the moat, which is bordered on the outside by a sand lane with a few rows of beech trees; the house with outbuildings lies on the south-eastern half; the other half is occupied by the vegetable garden, the layout of which is new; there is an old garden wall and - built against it - an old greenhouse (see under 5); the forecourt has a new layout with box, field stones and clinker bricks
re b.: the park section at the front (= north-east) consists of a triangular pasture with a small round pond in the middle and a few solitary trees; the pasture is bounded by the Schiphorsterweg and the two narrow more or less straight clinker lanes, which run out V-shaped from the dam over the moat towards the two unmarked entrances on the Schiphorsterweg; the lane running northwards is partially bordered by old oaks; on the other, running eastwards, there is a new car park
re c.: behind the house lies an old oak forest with woodland walks and a small meandering pond; there is no bridge as a direct connection over the moat to this forest; a narrow strip of forest runs along the south-eastern arm of the moat to the Schiphorsterweg; in the southern corner lies a field; between the moat and the country lane, which forms the boundary of the complex, lie three small pastures with hedgerows and a single solitary tree and a small group of birches.
