Omschrijving onderdeel 1: HUIS, 1753; blokvormig symmetrisch bakstenen gebouw op vierkante plattegrond; twee verdiepingen op kelder; onder de daklijst een mezzanineverdieping; omlopend schilddak met vier hoekschoorstenen; dakvlakken aan zuidwest en -oostkant met verglaasde pannen, de andere vlakken met nieuwe grijze pannen; symmetrische voorgevel met 5 traveeën; rijke, iets uitspringende ingangspartij in het midden met toegangsdeur en polychrome alliantiewapens De Vos van Steenwijk - Van Isselmuden op mezzaninehoogte; 8-lichtsramen op eerste verdieping, 6-lichtsramen op tweede; achtergevel ook met 5 traveeën en een driezijdig uitgebouwde tuinkamer met plat dak; ook een smalle uitbouw onder zadeldak aan de linker zijgevel. De voorgevel is met de bouwhuizen verbonden via een gebogen tuinmuur (zie onder 5). Inwendig o.m.: middengang met rijk L. XV stucplafond; enkele grijsmarmeren schouwen, XIXa,b

Description of component 1: HOUSE, 1753; block-shaped symmetrical brick building on a square plan; two storeys on basement; under the eaves line a mezzanine storey; circumferential hipped roof with four corner chimneys; roof surfaces on the southwest and southeast sides with glazed tiles, the other surfaces with new grey tiles; symmetrical front facade with 5 bays; rich, slightly projecting entrance section in the middle with entrance door and polychrome coat of arms De Vos van Steenwijk - Van Isselmuden at mezzanine level; 8-light windows on first storey, 6-light windows on second; rear facade also with 5 bays and a three-sided projecting garden room with flat roof; also a narrow extension under gabled roof on the left side gable.
