Omschrijving onderdeel 2: PARKAANLEG, XIXa-b.
Het kleine terrein, geheel door een brede sloot omgeven, heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en ligt met de zuidelijke korte zijde aan het einde van de bij de historische buitenplaats doodlopende Hesselinkslaan, een zijtak van de Oudeweg. Het enigszins geaccidenteerde terrein ligt duidelijk hoger dan het omgevende maaiveld, een gevolg van de vervening in de afgelopen eeuwen. Op de rechter terreinhelft (oost) staat het huis, net niet op de helft van de diepte van het terrein. Het huis is tot in de 19de eeuw omgracht geweest. Ten zuidwesten van het huis is nog een deel van de gracht aanwezig, de rest van het tracé is als een verlaging in het terrein nog duidelijk waarneembaar. Vanaf het einde van de Hesselinkslaan voert een zeer korte oprijlaan naar het ronde grasperk met grindpad midden voor het huis. De tegelverharding en de begeleidende jonge beukenbeplanting zijn niet oorspronkelijk. Links en rechts van het laantje ligt een grasveld dat is omzoomd door smalle stroken bomen en struiken, zijnde onderdeel van de landschappelijke aanleg, waarvan het belangrijkste deel achter (noord) en naast het huis, met name aan de westzijde, ligt. Achter het huis een smalle slingervijver die voor een deel waarschijnlijk ontstaan is uit de oude gracht. De slingervijver staat in verbinding met de buitensloot. Er staan enige indrukwekkende oude loofbomen, waaronder een beuk direct ten noordoosten van het huis en een rij paardekastanjes ten westen ervan. Het is onduidelijk of er een moestuin en boomgaard zijn geweest; wellicht is dit in de noordwesthoek van het parkje het geval waar thans jonge fruitbomen staan. Een rondlopend slingerpad (met dwars- en tussenpaden) is met enige moeite herkenbaar. Het terrein is met name rond de vijver enigszins geaccidenteerd.
Waardering
De historische PARKAANLEG vertegenwoordigt algemeen belang:

The small site, entirely surrounded by a broad ditch, has a rectangular plan and is situated with its southern short side at the end of the Hesselinkslaan, a branch of the Oudeweg, which terminates at the historical country estate. The somewhat undulating site lies clearly higher than the surrounding ground level, a consequence of peat extraction in the preceding centuries. On the right side of the site (east) stands the house, not quite at the midpoint of the depth of the site. The house was surrounded by a moat until the 19th century. To the southwest of the house, part of the moat is still present; the rest of its course is still clearly visible as a depression in the ground. From the end of the Hesselinkslaan, a very short drive leads to the round grass plot with gravel path in front of the house. The tile paving and the accompanying young beech planting are not original. On the left and right of the lane lies a grass field bordered by narrow strips of trees and shrubs, forming part of the landscape design, the main part of which lies behind (north) and beside the house, particularly on the west side. Behind the house a narrow winding pond, which in part probably originated from the old moat. The winding pond connects with the outer ditch. There stand some impressive old deciduous trees, including a beech directly to the northeast of the house and a row of horse chestnuts to the west of it. It is unclear whether there was a kitchen garden and orchard; perhaps this was the case in the northwest corner of the park where young fruit trees now stand. A winding path running around (with cross-paths and side-paths) is recognizable with some difficulty. The site is somewhat undulating, particularly around the pond.
