GESCHUTSTOREN, 1472, volgens een ingemetselde cartouchesteen; enig bouwdeel van de borg, dat nog resteert; half in de gracht staand (op de zuidoostpunt van het borgeiland) min of meer rond bakstenen gebouw op natuurstenen voeting (waarboven enige lichtspleten) van één bouwlaag onder laag tentdak met 7 vlakken bekroond door een vierkante polychrome houten pinakel met 4 wapens op een bakstenen voet, die het verlengde is van de centrale pijler, waarop waaiervormig de gewelven rusten; dak met grijze pannen en lood op de kepers tussen de dakvlakken; in 1991 is het gebouw gerestaureerd.
N.B.: het is onbekend wat er nog onder het maaiveld in archeologisch-bouwkundige zin van de borg resteert; het terrein is op dit moment een wildernis.

Description
GUNPOWDER TOWER, 1472, according to an embedded cartouche stone; only building component of the borg that remains; half standing in the moat (on the southeast point of the borg island) more or less round brick building on natural stone base (above which some light slits) of one storey under a low tent roof with 7 planes crowned by a square polychrome wooden spire with 4 coats of arms on a brick base, which is the extension of the central pillar, on which the vaults rest fan-shaped; roof with grey tiles and lead on the rafters between the roof planes; in 1991 the building was restored.
N.B.: it is unknown what remains archaeologically and architecturally beneath ground level of the borg; the site is currently a wilderness.
