Tussen de privaat gebouwen N en P aan de oostelijke zijde en O en Q aan de westelijke zijde staan respectievelijk de TRANSFORMATORHUIZEN R en S, daterend uit 1938-'39.
Omschrijving
De kleine gebouwen hebben een rechthoekige plattegrond en worden gedekt door een schilddak met verbeterde Hollandse pannen en een overstek. De eenlaags bakstenen gevels zijn grotendeels blind maar hebben aan de zijde van de appèlplaats een vleugelpoort.
Waardering
De transformatorhuizen van de kazerne zijn van algemeen belang. Ze hebben cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van een bestuurlijke en strategische ontwikkeling, namelijk de stichting van een kazerne als onderdeel van de Peel-Raamstelling, een belangrijk onderdeel van de landsverdediging, en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van kazernes in het interbellum. Architectuurhistorisch zijn ze van belang vanwege de stijl die door de bureaus der genie werd toegepast en wegens het materiaalgebruik. Het geheel is van belang vanwege de situering, verbonden met de strategische ontwikkeling van de aloude vestingstad Grave. Het is belangrijk vanwege de gaafheid van in- en exterieur.

Description
The small buildings have a rectangular floor plan and are covered by a hipped roof with improved Dutch tiles and an overhang. The single-storey brick facades are largely blank but have a wing door on the side facing the parade ground.
Valuation
The transformer houses of the barracks are of general importance. They have cultural-historical importance as an example of an administrative and strategic development, namely the establishment of a barracks as part of the Peel-Raam Position, an important component of national defence, and as an example of the typological development of barracks in the interwar period. From an architectural-historical perspective they are important because of the style applied by the engineer corps offices and because of the material used. The whole is important because of its location, connected with the strategic development of the ancient fortified city of Grave. It is important because of the integrity of interior and exterior.
